Their roles seem limited to the Palestinian & symbolic fronts. Trump already rebuffed Netanyahu's request not to end covert aid to Syrian rebels and to place a credible military threat against Iran on the table. Trump may well negotiate with Rouhani despite Israel's sympathizers.

Don't think Trump can veto when there is a 'supermajority' in congress who vote in congress? Not sure if it applies in this situation tho.
Also, if this plan goes forward will introduce Senate resolution opposing and asking for reversal of this decision. Expect it will receive strong bipartisan support.

If reports about US retreat in #Syria are accurate, the Trump administration has made a grave mistake that will have implications far beyond Syria.

Congress voted by a huge majority for US to get out of Yemen twice and Trump vetoed it both times so i think this will be the same.

Are you referring to this one?
The Senate had passed a bipartisan resolution on 13 March in a 54-to-46 vote, in a move that was largely seen as a rebuke of Trump’s alliance with the Saudi forces leading military action in Yemen. The House voted on the resolution in early April, passing it with 247 votes to 175.

The 67% supermajority was not reached in either of the legislative chambers.

Pretty sure Trump would be powerless to do anything. Guess congress will have to get a quick move on if they want to intervene in the decision, US troop withdrawal already underway...

Update (0925ET): Well that didn't take long. As expected, President Trump's legal team has, according to Reuters, filed an emergency appeal, sending the decision, we suspect, down the path towards a final showdown at the Supreme Court.

LOS ANGELES -- Emily Zamourka, whose subway-singing performance went viral, made her public debut Saturday - performing the same song that garnered her national attention late last month.
Zamourka - known as the "Subway Soprano" after a Los Angeles police officer posted the video of her singing on social media - performed at the grand opening of the new Little Italy in San Pedro, at the invitation of L.A. City Councilman Joe Buscaino.
She expressed how grateful she was to be able to share her talent.
"Eventually, I did touch your spirits and I'm so glad about that, that I could touch your heart with my voice," Zamourka said to the audience. "Thank you so much for all of this that's happening right now. I really thank you. I'm so overwhelmed."
A Grammy-nominated music producer offered Zamourka, who says she has no formal vocal training, a recording contract last week.
