As soon as possible Russia/China must take over initiative and chase out the scum that caused destruction of Iraq. In last weeks it looks like things are lining up against the hegemons. From Libya many reports about Russian presence, in Syria it's very clear and, now, it's Iraqi turn. Let's count in growing cracks between Turkey and US/NATO and Russian cooperation with Iran. Party pooper is Sisi so far...
I guess Americans in Syria plan to retreat to Iraq when Turkish OP begins so they want an Iraqi goverment that will allow them to stay in Iraq.
not if iraq goes to shit. and it seems like it. this situation that is going on in iraq could get out of control because there is a lot going on in neighbouring country’s at the moment.

#Iran's proxies carrying out a new phase; an "urban warfare" started just tonight at Sadr City & Ashula, the 2 cities have huge influence on the demos in #Baghdad
Locals pointing at 2 groups; Hadi Amri & Qais Khazali, they don't get along with
@Mu_AlSadr
What a joke it seems almost everyone in middle East is an Iran proxy to these people.

it is not only a problem that he lost on the battlefield. he also lost large amount of money from sovereign wealth fund. and at this time Saudi Arabia needs money because they do not get money from oil exports. their refinery was targeted. if war starts in iraq it will spread fast over whole area. US does not have enough military resources to intervene. as for russia and china...they have enough problems around their borders. this is too big of battlefield for them to control.

Reports that 4000 volunteers between Dhi Qar and Wasit announced the formation of an armed group calling itself the Dignity Shield Brigade in order to deter the sniper attacks targeting both protesters and security forces.
Sadr City was hit with mortars earlier in the night but it's not known who is responsible. 17/55 seizes mortars regularly during the illegal weapons campaigns.

In an ideal situation, Iraq , instead of being an arena of Saudi-Iranian competition, would become a place of accommodation between the two states and serve as a model for other parts of the Middle East. https://t.co/rA2fCM9hMN

No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

THE US-IRAN SILENT WAR IS TRANSFORMED INTO AN “IRAQ UPRISING”
The last four days have shown that the ongoing US-Iran war is acutely affecting the whole region. This is now evident in Iraq where more than 105 people have been killed and thousands wounded in the course of demonstrations that engulfed the capital Baghdad and southern Shia cities including Amara, Nasririyeh, Basrah, Najaf and Karbalaa. Similar demonstrations could erupt in Beirut and other Lebanese cities due to the similarity of economic conditions in the two countries. The critical economic situation in the Middle East offers fertile ground for uprisings that lead to general chaos.
Iraq has special status due to its position, since the 2003 US occupation of the country, as both an Iranian and as a US ally. Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi up to now has armed himself with article 8 of the constitution, seeking to keep Iraq as a balancing point between all allies and neighbouring countries, and to prevent Mesopotamia from becoming a battlefield for conflicts between the US and Iran or Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Notwithstanding the efforts of Baghdadi officials, the deterioration of the domestic economic situation in Iraq has pushed the country into a situation comparable to that of those Middle Eastern countries who were hit by the so-called “Arab Spring”. Fueled by real grievances including lack of job opportunities and severe corruption, domestic uprisings were manipulated by hostile intelligence services for purposes of regime change; these efforts have been ongoing in Syria since 2011. Foreign and regional countries took advantage of the justified demands of the population to implement their own agenda, with disastrous consequences for the countries in question.
Sources within the office of the Iraqi Prime Minister said “the recent demonstrations were already planned a couple of months ago. Baghdad was working to try and ease the situation in the country, particularly since the demands of the population are legitimate. The Prime Minister has inherited the corrupt system that has developed since 2003; hundreds of billions of dollars have been diverted into the pockets of corrupt politicians. Moreover, the war on terror used not only all the country’s resources but forced Iraq to borrow billions of dollars for the reconstruction of the security forces and other basic needs.
The latest demonstrations were supposed to be peaceful and legitimate because people have the right to express their discontent, concerns and frustration. However, the course of events showed a different objective: 16 members of the security forces were killed along with tens civilians and many government and party buildings were set on fire and completely destroyed. This sort of behaviour has misdirected the real grievances of the population onto a disastrous course: creating chaos in the country. Who benefits from the disarray in Iraq?”
