Syrian Army scores new advance in northeast Latakia tonight. Some hills were captured south of Kabani; however, this has happened before and they would later withdraw to the southern slope of the Zuwayqat Mountain
Finally it looks like SAA moved little bit on this front. Hope the rest of Latakia will be liberated soon. There is really small part of this governorate held by the terrorists.

It looks like Kurds refused to act as "oil field patrols" for the US as US is not able to guard them with only about 200 troops.

putin can not risk that russian army gets bogged down in syria between different fractions. if shooting starts and we have to be realistic, that "rebels" and "moderate opposition" are not under full control of turkey there will be a body count. and putin can not allow him self for body bags to start coming to russia. and if the conflict starts to protract (as it will) he will have another afganistan on his hands.
