The guy is like a high-energy care salesman, but look at what he proposes objectively: He lays 3/4 of the lease and healthcare tasks on to the states and all he really proposes that the military will do is to act as an intermediary for companies like KBR to secure massive no-bid construction contracts. I wouldn't be at all shocked if a company like KBR in fact handed him that "standard plan" themselves.

It sounds like an absolute boondoggle to me as the military and its corporate partners have proven itself too big and bureaucratic to handle any such project anyways - The project would probaly get completed by the year 2040. That is unless we think projects like the F-35, USS George H.W. Bush, Katrina response, etc. have been handled well.

I would think that would not be calming to any rational person, bank, or corporation in regards to the long-term as what the act demonstrates is that the central bank is in such a dire situation that it will take the action of monetizing an almost infinite amount of pure debt. This makes 2008 money printing look like a drop in the bucket even compared to 2008... there again I'm not a banker...

How it goes in your area? I was shopping hour ago and everything looks calm. No fights over toilet paper etc.

So far in my county there are no confirmed cases, but I don't think we have tests this far out, either. Both Charlottesville and Harrisonburg have cases. The stores were picked clean last weekend, but when I did some shopping Thursday evening most items are restocked - except flu/cold medicine, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, and cleaning products that will santize. Fortunately I shop at Costco regularly and don't have to worry about any of those items. hahaha

Glad CR is maintaining zero deaths so far. Either you all have amazing docs, or deaths aren't being reported. Hopefully it's great doctors and you all will continue to have people recover.

Overall we have small nnumber of hospitalized patients. 74 people is in hospitals and 19 of them are on ICU. The rest of infected being treated at home.
