(February 1, 2021) Why Health Care Companies Are Paying Workers To Get The COVID-19 Vaccine
Oak Valley Hospital District is offering its employees a $300 bonus to get vaccinated.
The independent hospital in Oakdale, California, decided to implement a financial incentive after only 40% of its 600 employees
initially turned up to get the shot. Many health care systems have seen widespread reluctance among workers to get vaccinated.
According to Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, 60% of his state’s nursing home workers declined the vaccine.
In some health care settings, as many as 80% of workers have turned down the vaccine,
according to an AP report. Although some vaccine hesitancy among health care workers was expected,
the large numbers unsettle many experts in the field.

Pretty rough when you have to pay people to vaccinate against a so-called modern plague. Kinda suggests the propaganda hasn’t worked as well as they hoped...

(April 23, 2021) Biden Gives Businesses Incentives to Help Workers Get COVID-19 Shots
As demand for COVID-19 vaccination in the United States shows signs of declining,
President Joe Biden on Wednesday offered businesses new incentives to help more workers get their shots.
He asked — but did not mandate — that businesses give employees paid time off to get vaccinated
and even offered special tax credits to businesses employing less than 500 people to help cover any costs.
Right now, about 40 percent of American adults have gotten at least one dose of vaccine, The Times said, but rates vary widely between states.

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice (R) announced on Monday that any West Virginian age 16 to 35
who gets vaccinated will receive a $100 savings bond, in an effort to get more young residents inoculated.
The state, according to Justice, will use the money it received from the CARES Act,
the COVID-19 relief package passed by Congress last March, to pay for the savings bonds.
The plan, Justice noted, will be retroactive, so West Virginia residents ages 16 to 35 who have already received their vaccine will be eligible for a $100 savings bond.

(May 13, 2021) Five people to be given $1,000,000 for getting their Covid vaccine
Mike DeWine, Ohio’s Republican governor, announced the jaw-dropping scheme
on Wednesday in hopes of persuading more state residents to accept their Covid vaccines.
It comes as the pace of US vaccinations has slowed in recent weeks due to
skepticism about the drugs or hesitancy over side effects.
The number of Americans seeking vaccinations has dropped by a third in recent weeks,
according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
In trying to boost vaccine take-up in his state, DeWine has said that over the next five weeks,
Ohio officials will draw the names of five people from its list
of residents who have received at least one jab, and award them $1million each.
The lottery scheme will be funded by the state’s federal coronavirus relief funds, DeWine said during a televised announcement.
In addition to $1million prizes, DeWine also announced plans to incentivize children aged 12 to 17 to get the shot.
The state plans to draw the name of one vaccinated child to receive a full, four-year college scholarship
at a state university – including fees for room, board and books.
