Sky news tv seem besides themselves after having "record July temperature watch and reports all day". They just said it only just didn't quite make it, falling a full SIX degrees short at just 31C. Eurostar ran a revised timetable as with trains across the country etc for nothing. Furnace Friday turned into pilot light Friday

Indeed, at the moment the GFS forecast I'm looking at has temps of mid 40s celcius for Spain, Portugal in a few days.
For the middle of the next week it is forecasting that the hot air will be sent north showing 40c quite widespread in Europe - France, Netherlands, Germany, Poland.

As Europe bakes in another heatwave, forecasters say the all-time temperature record could be broken in the coming days.

The temperatures here are not that high only 31 celsius but humidity is killing me and I have no A/C. They were saying few days ago something about heat wave coming, it sux so far :/
