OMG. When Afghan staff working at Dutch embassy in Kabul checked in for work on Sunday, they found to their disbelief the office was deserted. Without informing their 37 Afghan colleagues, all Dutch embassy staff already moved to a safer location. Afghans then left home.@akhbar https://t.co/rNptRxcY6V

Swedish embassy in Kabul did similar thing. Swedish embassy staff just walked out on their Afghan colleagues. When Afghans inquired what was happening, Swedes refused to answer phones and also blocked their official email accounts.@akhbarhttps://t.co/yUshg4EZIg

"Afghans then left home." Is Afghans here Nominative or Accusative? The meaning of the sentence is completely different. Who or Whom? The Dutch left the Afghans. or The Afghans left the empty embassy.

Today Taliban official Abdul Hamid Hamasi visited local traders in Kabul city and assured them of security. He told them they should work freely, not feel threatened to leave the country and help in inviting foreign investment in Afghanistan.
