good catch there Zambeezi, it is indeed not an occasional ton of gold!!
Found this article that is it seams pertinent but who knows?:
..
Notably, in 2020, Russian exports of gold, instead of being eastbound in line Putin’s “Look East” policy,
have been overwhelmingly shipped westwards, via intermediary transshipment countries, and into the ultimate ownership of the US Federal Reserve.
..
In terms of intermediary jurisdictions through which the bulk of Russia’s gold and other precious metals exports have been shipped, it is a role the United Kingdom
has played a major part in, notwithstanding its own dire relations with Moscow. Even so, in 2020, Russian precious metals exports to the UK hit a record US$19.2 billion.
..
Consequently, the UK’s exports of non-processed gold and precious metals have literally boomed
in line with the boost in imports from Russia. This is particularly true of exports to Switzerland.
..
Correspondingly, Switzerland, which reportedly processes about 70% of the world’s gold into a more refined attractive product, has also boosted its levels of precious metals exports around the world.
Yet the share of Swiss precious metals’ exports has swung markedly from developing countries, such as China and India, being noted traditional major buyers of gold and other bullion, to developed world economies.
In particular, the US accounted for the lion’s share of Switzerland’s 2020 gold exports rising to US$32 billion from around US$3 billion in preceding years.
..
In sum, while both Switzerland and the UK have significantly raised precious metals exports to the US, their exports to China have fallen off dramatically.
..
The mechanistic explanation for the significant rise in Russian gold exports to the UK and beyond is probably a result of Moscow’s liberalization of precious metals exports last year.
Prior to the reforms, Russia’s commercial banks were the only vehicles licensed to export gold and silver bullion.
Now, precious metals producers have been granted the same rights with general long-term licenses, although it’s currently unclear as to whether any limitations of exports could be applied.
..
Nevertheless, the Russian government’s recent policy of liberalizing gold exports, amid the surge in demand for gold by the US Federal Reserve,
may be a calculated move in encouraging the US to re-introduce a gold standard, given that Moscow has not been shy about promoting a non-dollar based global economy.
At the very least, a new gold standard would leave the US in a strong position – holding by far the largest gold reserves of any country –
while China and Russia would equally benefit from their considerable lead as the world’s principal gold producers.

what this^^^ really means....
(from the article i posted https://archive.is/zsJaA)
The potential for foul play became a bit more likely in June,
when Russian President Vladimir Putin signed https://archive.is/jwShS
a law easing foreign exchange controls for gold exporters.
The loosened regulations mean that sales of precious metals
are now exempted from the requirement to credit the proceeds to Russian accounts.
The cash can now be kept in Western banks.
As we understand it, this means
gold could be mined in Russia
and sold in London
—with the earnings kept in euros
in a Swiss bank account
(for example).

Re: #85 - Main news thread - conflicts, terrorism, crisis from around the globe
To that end, the decree may not be exactly the helping hand banks were hoping for,
given that it lets miners export without any middlemen, undermining the benefit to banks
of being the country's sole bullion exporters. It also weakens banks' negotiating power
due to producers' suddenly having a much wider choice of buyers.
Thanks to the decree, the proportion of miners' direct exports
of bullion versus their sales to Russian banks
may change sharply unless some companies find the new export system inconvenient,
leading them to hold fast to their old schemes and liaisons.
The convenience of the existing order is that gold companies are used to selling on an ex-works basis --
handing over the material at their refineries' gates and being free from insurance costs and other administrative issues associated with exports.

Fabio Vighi describes the background to the "pandemic". It's quite simple: the super-rich are going berserk and want to keep control with the help of a global dictatorship.

What is currently being staged as the "punishment of the unvaccinated" is just an exercise in implementing the future measures of the emerging regime. The super-rich are all about total control. They will later make no distinction between "vaccinated" and "unvaccinated". Absolute obedience and digital play money are the order of the day for the people.

The post on this has been locked on TP. As far as I remember, it proves that it was not the lockdown last spring that caused the stock markets to "falter", but that it prevented worse effects of the financial market crisis. I'll spread the word before I take a closer look.

Re: #85 - Main news thread - conflicts, terrorism, crisis from around the globe
The Central Bank of Russia revealed early in July that it has been buying gold at below market prices
domestically since May 1 to encourage exports of the precious metal.
"We introduced discounts for the purchase of gold because
we saw that vendors were selling gold mainly to the central bank,"
Reuters quoted Gov. Elvira Nabiullina as saying July 3.
The bank has more than doubled its gold reserves since 2014
to over 2,000 tonnes as it diversifies away from the dollar.
Meanwhile, exports of the yellow metal have crashed
from 75.66 tonnes in 2014 to just 17.05 tonnes in 2018.
The central bank spent an unprecedented US$10.4 billion on gold in June,
taking the value of its gold reserves to US$100.28 billion, an almost 12% rise from US$89.88 billion May 31.
The record spending means the value of the bank's overall international reserves hit US$518.36 billion June 30
as foreign exchange reserves also rose, albeit to a lesser extent.
"I suppose that the BoR estimates the current market price of gold to be too high for sustaining purchases
at earlier levels and is hedging its price risks," George Voloshin,
who heads the Paris office of consultancy Aperio Intelligence, said in an interview. "

"Surveillance and vaccination: corona, colonialism and biopolitics
Compulsory state vaccination is biopolitics
...
Vaccination came from India
In India, as early as fifteen hundred BC, the vesicular contents of smallpox were transferred to healthy people to protect them from the disease through this "inoculation". This live vaccine resulted in infections and deaths, but at least it was possible to control the timing of the disease.
In Western accounts, however, the credit for the invention of vaccination goes not to the cultural nation of India, but to India's colonial occupying power at the time, the British. For in the western English town of Berkely, the country doctor Edward Jenner had infected a boy first with harmless cowpox, then with real smallpox. "The result: the boy is immune to smallpox. A morally questionable human experiment, but 1 July 1796 becomes a milestone in the history of vaccination." (ARD documentary "Immune! History of Vaccination")
The history of British vaccination is less glorious for Zurich historian Harald Fischer-Tiné, who investigated the circulation of knowledge between colonies and the British colonial power. Using the example of smallpox vaccination, he shows that even in the 18th century, Indian medicine was still attracting attention in England when, for example, John Z. Holwell's treatise "On the Manner of Inoculating for the Smallpox in the East Indies" appeared in 1767.
Inoculation (also known as variolation) did not necessarily refer to the cowpox transmission to humans reported by ARD, whose success was dismissed there as "moderate". It was probably about attenuated smallpox pathogens from pustules of recovered smallpox patients, which were transmitted by scratching. About one in 30 inoculated persons died, from smallpox or from other diseases unintentionally transmitted with it. But in one of the common smallpox infections, the death rate was about five times higher.
The point here, according to Fischer-Tiné, is that a few decades later, the imperial science of the British self-deprecatingly adorned itself with the foreign feathers of Indian medicine. This corresponded to a racist attitude that wanted to disqualify the colonised people and their culture - also in order to be able to understand the oppression as a merciful act of civilisation.

Several other letters from the summer of 1763 show the smallpox idea was not an anomaly. The letters are filled with comments that indicate a genocidal intent, with phrases such as:
"...that Vermine ... have forfeited all claim to the rights of humanity" (Bouquet to Amherst, 25 June) [149k]
"I would rather chuse the liberty to kill any Savage...." (Bouquet to Amherst, 25 June) [121k]
"...Measures to be taken as would Bring about the Total Extirpation of those Indian Nations" (Amherst to Sir William Johnson, Superintendent of the Northern Indian Department, 9 July) [229k]
"...their Total Extirpation is scarce sufficient Attonement...." (Amherst to George Croghan, Deputy Agent for Indian Affairs, 7 August) [145k]
"...put a most Effectual Stop to their very Being" (Amherst to Johnson, 27 August [292k]; emphasis in original).
.....................................
And in the end we have the same kind of scumbags today.
