There are certainly still shades between the rule of the totally crazy and a totally uniform society. Don't forget, there is also a gay community in Russia and also areas where men in women's clothes are tolerated. As far as I have heard, this is neither a reason to get upset about it all the time in Russia, nor a reason to cheer it up. 

The people there do not seem to find the topic so important. They probably weren't indoctrinated into thinking it was important.

A very long, but interesting read.

A very good analysis. Apart from the military part and the explanations of the "landlocked" problem with Serbia and Hungary, my thoughts have been going in a similar direction for several years now. The "war" in Ukraine, as bad as it is for those involved there, was therefore only one - albeit significant - stone in the big mosaic for me. 

However, what was not clear to me before 2022 was how weak the West / NATO actually are by now. And this at every level, military, economic and ideological. 

The "European" dominance of the last centuries is coming to an end. Whatever countries the Europeans have colonized, their dominance is also coming to an end there. "And I feel fine", no matter what any Nazi idiots or "white supremacists" want to convince me of.
