Early in the morning, Russian forces initiated a massive artillery barrage on the Ukrainian defensive positions in Avdeevka.
The number of shells fired in a single day was truly unprecedented, involving both artillery and FAB-1500 bombs with precision guidance.

Immediately following the artillery preparation, Russian assault squads launched an attack from the south, near Spartak.
According to preliminary information, the Russian Armed Forces seized a section of the E50 road south of the Ukrainian stronghold.

Additionally, Archangel Special Forces report that Russian paratroopers conducted an assault
from the direction of Krasnogorovka towards the railway line. As a result, Russian forces rapidly advanced towards Berdychiv.

The configuration of the front line in this area remains unclear.
It is possible that Russian army units breached the defense near the railway line and, bypassing Petrovske, reached Berdychiv.
Ukrainian forces are experiencing communication issues between units.
