Utter insanity.
This is literally mafia-style practice. Trump imposed unilateral sanctions on Iran and now abducts foreigners, who are not in compliance with his orders. Yes, it is insane. US has no mandate to bully the rest of the world. US, its system, its elites, are rotten to the core. Yet this, literally, mafia considers itself as lighthouse of humanity and justice. What a fucking joke! More and more I think that they are even worse than fucking nazis. The Nazis, at least, were so honest that they said openly that htey consider themselves as superior and want everyone else dead or inferior.
I can't disagree with you. I'm more and more appalled every day by things happening here. The really scary part is that most of the population doesn't understand why this is a big deal.

I highly doubt this accurately captures what the Yellow Vests want. This reads like a list prepared by some small group looking to capitalize on the movement. Much of the content is arbitrary and even contradictory (you want to cut taxes but massively increase government control of the economy and further increase the already massive government bureaucracy?).
Hard to say but I would sign the most of demands. Frexit, ban lobbies, exit from NATO, end of participation in wars of agression, ban GMOs. Also I don't see it as much contradictory. Leaving NATO and end of participation in wars would mean massive savings, thus taxes can be cut, even with increased govt. control. I think there are some points as revokability of elected representatives.
Don't forget that it's rough, aoutomated translation. Some important points can be lost. I gonna ask my French bud how correct it is.

There would certainly be massive savings if those endeavors were abandoned. But rather than cutting the budget sufficiently to permit the massive tax cuts, much of those demanded cuts would simply reduce the deficit. And that would still leave the national debt - France needs to run a surplus for decades to pay off its debt, not swallow up savings with new spending.
Also, the demanded changes would crash the economy, in particular the reduction of the size of the banks and the demand for cancellation of debt. I'm not saying that I want things to continue as they are, but that would be a consequence.
Also, if this truly is what they want, it means Trump is right: this list of demands is a wish-list of the European Right.

Well, allways there are consequences if you want to change something I guess. There must be control over spendings, over lobbies (which are, in fact, corruption), over healthcare. I can't go in detail as I'm not familiar with exact numbers but, for example, let's compare it to the US recent situation. The whole "defense" budget, that is nothing else than money to the pocket of the globalist mafia, is worth of free education for the whole US. And I think it is very similar in France. Or UK. Or Germany. Damn, even in my own country. It's daylight robbery. Take these money, invest them in better control over lobbies (special interest groups) and savings use appropriately. Of course it needs that the govt. gonna work for its people, not for the special interest groups that are target.
And no, Trump is not right. Protesters in France refuse Macron, his leftist opponent and, also, LePen. This is why none of them attempts to use this rebelion for own benefit. The protesters literally say that the whole system, including its representatives, is wrong and demand their leave.

Update1: sources told me that the target of the airstrikes may be an Iranian cargo plane which reportedly landed in the airport earlier. However, it is not clear yet if it was hit as no explosion were reported as for now.
