Russian truckers stuck at the border in Georgia

Hundreds of trucks are blocked on the old bypass road in Tbilisi. The truckers cannot transit from Armenia to Russia.

The local police have been forcing them to queue up and wait for weeks without water or food. With scorching heat, thirst and no proper toilet, Russian drivers have to wait in line for days at a time.

The only saviour is the locals who deliver food, but the price of water can bite an arm off. At the same time, according to the truckers, vehicles with Georgian and Ukrainian plates cross the border unimpeded.
