The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

The US rejected an Iranian offer to exchange Al Qaeda prisoners for MEK leaders in Iraq in early 2000s.
According to this report, the Pentagon opposed because it "wanted to use the MEK for future operations, potentially as the core for an insurgency."

This quite well confirms further how all of this is prepared in advance. Which government, that trully works in best interest of own country and its citizens, would refuse opportunity to take over terrorists from the same group that was behind the 9/11? Not the single one. But US government does not work for the country and its people, obviously.

Re: #30 - Main news thread - conflicts, terrorism, crisis from around the globe
Africa's booming cities face a severe toilet crisis
The darkening clouds are ominous for many in this urban neighborhood, promising rushing rainwaters stinking of human waste from overflowing septic tanks. As Africa faces a population boom unmatched anywhere in the world, millions of people are moving to fast-growing cities while decades-old public facilities crumble under the pressure.
Sewage is a scourge for residents of this community on the outskirts of Uganda's capital, Kampala. There are no public toilets for some 1,200 people. Mud tinged with feces washes into homes during heavy rains.
The sanitation crisis echoes that of cities across the developing world. Some 2.5 billion people, most of them in Africa or Asia, lack access to an adequate toilet, United Nations figures show. Governments are increasingly depending on private businesses and philanthropic groups to help manage human waste in cities that were never planned to handle so many people.
One of the fastest-growing cities in the world, Kampala is home to at least 1.5 million people but authorities say over 3 million pass through daily, usually for work. Yet there are fewer than 800 pay toilets and only 14 free ones, many of them dilapidated with walls often smeared with feces.
Many people rush to malls to relieve themselves. Even in the buildings of government agencies the toilets are often kept under lock and key, apparently to discourage intruders.
Kampala's urban sewer system covers less than 10 percent of the population, authorities say. When pit latrines and septic tanks are not safely built, they pose a serious health risk. They leak fecal waste that contaminates swamps and Lake Victoria, the city's main water source, especially during the rainy season.
"Less than 50 percent of the fecal sludge generated in Kampala safely reaches a waste treatment plant," said Angelo Kwitonda, a sewage engineer with the government. "The rest of the volume is kept in our homes."
Outbreaks of cholera and other water-borne diseases are common.

The global expanse of US military bases is well-known; but it's actual territorial empire is largely hidden. The true map of America is not taught in our schools.
Abby Martin interviews history Professor Daniel Immerwahr about his new book, 'How To Hide An Empire,' where he documents the story of our "Greater United States."
From comments:
All I could think during the segment about Indian Country was "Holy shit... This is Palestine".

The 2020 U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard came under fire for voting in favor of condemning the pro-Palestinian Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
The U.S. House of Representatives Tuesday passed (398-17) a nonbinding resolution condemning the BDS movement.
Gabbard is the only presidential candidate to vote for the bill. Two of the three Democratic members of Congress still running for president, Seth Moulton of Massachusetts and Tim Ryan of Ohio, were absent during the vote.

That's Gabbard's dark side. As I can agree with many of her hints regarding disastrous US foreign policy, perpetual wars and occupations of sovereign countries I also know that she is quite familiar with AIPAC & co. She attended Christians United For Israel gathering this year:

Sad truth. I guess it is not eve allowed to run for US president if you are not in good relations with la kosher nostra...
Holding an anti-regime change, anti-endless US corporate wars position whilst also supporting AIPAC's position is surely the very definition of talking out of both sides of one's mouth. She might as well have said, "I'm pro zionist and anti zionist", lol.

Exactly. And here comes on mind Trump's campaign. He was anti-globalist, anti-special interest groups, anti-inteventionist, anti-regime change...but also he said that he will stand behind Israel for 100%. And we know that it can't work. Some can say "It's appeasement to influential lobby groups". With Trump such excuse did not work. He is the biggest globalist manchurian ever. Why it should work with Tulsi? I'm quite skeptic and disappointed. But, as Putin said, all the US presidents are just puppets so nothing new here actually...
