American farmer: Trump 'took away all of our markets' https://t.co/PH6gNGtUZ3 via @YahooFinance

Well at least Trump said he would compensate the farmers appropriately in the form of aid/subsidy. Aaand another lie...
More than 50% of federal aid meant to help American farmers cope with the negative impacts of Trump's trade war with China went to the largest and wealthiest farms, Axios reports. https://t.co/RLs5Ka8gHi
— Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) July 31, 2019
And this sums up exactly what Trump meant by 'Make America Great Again'. To make a select number of wealthy fucks even wealthier at the expense of the average American, many of them Trump voters, who when they cheer for Trump they are only cheering for their own demise.

Buffer zone in northeast Syria: Conditions of the YPG
The commander of the SDF offers a 5 kilometre deep zone as a compromise. Under the condition that Turkey is not allowed to use Syrian Islamist militias.
The Kurds demand that the "security zone" that Turkey is demanding should reach only 5 kilometres deep into northern Syria. And they want international supervision of the safe zone, without the participation of Turkish troops - unless Turkey fulfils conditions that seem completely impossible to fulfil at the moment.
But perhaps compromises are possible at the moment, pressure is growing, all three major parties, the US, Turkey and the Kurds of the Rojava self-government, are in a relationship of power and dependence that needs compromises. Unless they want to open the next big front in Syria.
The mere fact that the YPG itself is now making proposals for the buffer zone public is, after all the experience that the Kurds have made and are making in Afrin, a step that for a long time experts and observers had classified as unlikely. Letting Turkey into the Kurdish-administered territories in northern Syria was seen as a risk that the YPG would never accept.
The Kurdish proposals mentioned, according to which a buffer zone with a depth of five kilometres instead of 30 kilometres, as demanded by Turkey, would be possible, come from the Kurdish SDF commander Mazlum Kobane (aka Ferhat Abdi Sahin, often also under the name Mazlum Abdi or Ebdi). He expresses them in an interview with al-Monitor.
There it says that the Kurds had already passed on proposals for the establishment of a security zone in December via the contacts to the Turkish secret service mediated by the USA, in order to bring their own compromise solution to the negotiating table.
Islamist militias "off-limits
On the points of contention which were exposed during the visit of the US special envoy for Syria, James Jeffrey, to Ankara about a week ago ( Northern Syria: High-risk Turkish security zone Besides the extension of the security zone - and thus the distance, how far the YPG should withdraw because of the "legitimate security interests of Turkey" (James Jeffrey) - the question which weapons may be stationed by whom where, the question of control and supervision and especially the deployment of the Islamist Syrian militias, which are allied with Turkey and have so far accompanied every Turkish military operation in Syria ("Euphrates Shield" or "Olive Branch") belong to the high-risk Turkish security zone.
For the Kurds, who have had terrible experiences with these militias in Afrin, their deployment in the area east of the Euphrates, where Turkey has been urging them for a long time, is unthinkable, "off-limits", as the SDF commander stresses once again.
Mazlum Kobane is convinced that the withdrawal of the YPG from the zone is worth talking about. The same goes for the withdrawal of heavy weapons with a range as far as Turkey, but not for the deployment of Islamic militias alongside Turkey. On the other hand, they are open to the return of the Syrians who fled to Turkey in their country before the war.
"But only if they come from the region," so the condition that wants to counter the intentions of a settlement policy with which Erdogan, as preexerted in Afrin, wants to expel Kurds in the neighbourhood of Turkey with a new population.
The resettlement of the expelled Kurds in Afrin is one of the basic demands which, as mentioned at the beginning, the Kurdish self-government makes of Turkey so that it could be part of the international supervision which ensures that the conditions laid down for the buffer and security zone are adhered to.
Mazlum Kobane demands that the civilians and militias who have settled there with the capture of Afrin by the Turkish military operation "Olive Branch" should return the property they have taken possession of. This is to take place under the control of a "Civil Council in Afrin". If Turkey agrees and also shows progress, Turkish soldiers could also take over patrols in the safe zone.
Intimidation at the border
One cannot imagine that Turkey will respond to these concrete demands of the Kurdish self-government - which it presents exclusively as "terrorists" to be fought. To respond to the general demand that Turkey commit itself to non-aggression is one thing, the other is to take back all the steps that have made Afrin a Turkish protectorate since spring 2018.
The US Special Envoy James Jeffrey is said to have had little success in his mediation attempts during his visit to Ankara, according to the conclusion of the Turkish al-monitor author Fehim Tastekin. Turkey has little interest in compromises with the YPG and political self-government. Instead, as the troop deployments on the border with Syria and the military operations in northern Iraq show, it is putting pressure on Turkey and signaling to the US that Turkey could start from Washington even without a green light.
However, the US has air sovereignty over the area where Turkey wants to establish its security zone. As long as Turkey cannot support its operation in Northern Syria with its own airplanes - with an opponent who is determined to do everything - the military operation is associated with considerable risks and losses. In addition, France is also making itself strong as an ally of the Kurds.

Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

Tulsi tries to tell Anderson Cooper about deranged US policy in Idlib: that US threatens to send US military against anyone (including Syria, Russia) who attacks AlQaeda in Idlib. Asks how you explain that to soldiers? https://t.co/Ze3HU7HJGu

China's military has broken its silence on the #HongKongProtests, warning the unrest has 'seriously threatened life and safety' and should not be tolerated. #HongKong

A Chinese newspaper ” China Daily” has described the protests in Hong Kong as a “color revolution” for the first time. “What happens in Hong Kong is no longer just the expression of displeasure over real or imagined grievances,” writes the China Daily on Monday. “It has the same hue as the color revolutions instigated in the Middle East and North Africa: local anti-government elements conspiring with outside forces to overthrow governments, using modern communication technology to spread rumors, fear and mistrust”.

I guess the pressure in HK will reach crazy levels this weekend now that the U.S. China trade agreement is more distant than ever plus the Fed reserve didn't cut the rates as much as Trump wanted. Could be a decisive weekend indeed one way or the other.

This guy @ChristopherJM apparently has no idea whatsoever about an idiot he is. He reveals the work of the British deep state on a daily basis. He confirms Hong Kong is the new Maidan Western-backed coup. pic.twitter.com/AtEMYe6pYz
