They were oftenly a part of Russian-led anti-terrorist intervention in Syria in its first years. I think they fought mainly in Homs, around Palmyra etc...

MOSCOW, September 15. /TASS/. Russia’s Black Sea Fleet is monitoring the US Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport USNS Yuma (T-EPF- that entered the Black Sea on Saturday, the National Defense Management Center (part of the Russian Defense Ministry) said on Sunday.

"The Black Sea Fleet is escorting the US fast transport USNS Yuma that entered the Black Sea’s waters at nearly 17:30 on September 14," the center said.

The Russian military notes that the Black Sea Fleet’s forces on duty "are continuously monitoring the US vessel."

Earlier reports said that the Russian Black Sea Fleet monitored the US Navy’s destroyer Porter and the USS Carney guided missile destroyer on August 8 and June 30, respectively.

Under the Montreux international convention, which regulates the transit of Turkish Straits for warships not belonging to Black Sea states, the US destroyer’s stay in the Black Sea must not exceed 21 days, the Defense Ministry noted.

I had a lot of questions for Google about this feature, and about the camera's ability to spot a raised hand gesture in order to pause or resume playback, too. For instance: Is the camera always recording in order to process what it sees and spot familiar faces or gestures? Is it sharing everything it sees with Google's cloud?

"If camera sensing is enabled and the camera is on (i.e., not turned off via the hardware or software switch), then the camera is continuously processing pixels to look for faces and/or gestures," a Google spokesperson explained. "This processing is done locally on the device, and no pixels leave the Nest Hub Max."

You can also use the camera in the Nest Hub Max like a Nest Cam security camera, and view its feed at any time via Android TV or via the Google Home or Nest apps. If you'd like, you can subscribe to Nest Aware, a service that saves motion-activated video clips to a cloud account for you to review later. All of that -- watching the feed remotely and storing clips recorded from it -- involves uploading footage to Google's servers.

"When you are using your Nest Hub Max as a Nest Cam, and any other time when video or images are being uploaded to Google (for example, during a video call), you'll see the green light at the top of the device," the spokesperson said. "If you have subscribed to Nest Aware for your Hub Max, your stored recordings from the Nest Cam feature will be available for you to review and delete any time in the Nest app."

Google is not the state, so I'm not so fond of it.
On the other hand, Russian GosUslugi (State Services) site has information that bio-metrical IDs are on the way and some authorized banks are beginning to gather information. They took a lot of David's stuff without any explanation as to why, but they didn't get the safe, which was a floor safe and it's possible they didn't even know it was there. In fact, we're pretty certain they didn't know it was there, because it is very well hidden.

David was smart and put pretty much everything in that safe that was important. David had also given at least three friends access to his online accounts, and said if something happened to him, to be ready to take over.
