It is certainly one of the most suspicious leaks, delivered by an unknown source and perfectly timed as the US seeks to leverage anti-austerity protests in Iraq against Iran. It is also an insidious leak, strategically placed in an outlet that brands itself as “adversarial.” https://t.co/8AxKz2qWF9

this Intercept/NYT 'leak' seemed like tidbits of equal parts spin and intel 'chatter' then patched together into a 'narrative'
It felt like they 'added-in' a character to play the part of a 'defector' to 'polish' the spin and put a pretty 'bow' on the whole 'tale' to give it continuity.... then 'leaked' it to gullible intercept.
Very similar to what was done by Brennan & Co. with Russiagate... then 'sold' it as 'real' dirt to the 'salivating' Democrats.

The partition of Yugoslavia, once thought to be a closed chapter, has come back with a vengeance. From diplomatic sabotage between Serbia and Kosovo, to the governance paralysis in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Balkans are still struggling with old grievances, while eagerly raising new ones. Could this period of bad peace result in yet another war? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Milorad Dodik, Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Too much to get into but....
the RT story on yet 'another' self immolating Tesla prompts me to share on my little solar project.
I'm retrofitting a power plant into an old minivan... part of it is solar.
Choosing a lithium 'type' was my challenge.
So 'safety' is just one of the factors. Tesla's 'infrequent' but 'recurring' problem is with the 'fast' charge/discharge cycle.
It (however) is 'state of the art' and an amazing battery.
If anybody wants to drill down on this cutting edge techno stuff....
here's why I chose Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4) chemistry over Tesla chemistry.
This is WAY off line for a geo-political thread. hahaha

I opened the link about German tv-news broadcaster:
https://www.tagesschau.de/ausland/afd-syrien-105.html
And there at the end the old lies about criminal dictator wiss mass killings and poisoned civilians blah blah blah ...
"Maltreatment in Syrian prisons
But there is also a climate of fear in the areas under the control of the Assad government. The Sednaja prison near Damascus is a symbol of brutal oppression. Thousands of opposition members are said to have already been murdered there. In a new survey, ex-prisoners report systematic ill-treatment, torture and death. Corpses often remained in the cells for days. The food for the prisoners was dumped in toilets. They would have to eat from it.
"Those who call Syria safe are wrong"
For Molham El-Khon a return to Syria is therefore unthinkable. The Syrian doctor from Damascus lives in exile in Cairo. He is close to the opposition, runs a refugee organisation with 16,000 registered families, and communicates daily with friends and activists in Damascus. He fears being arrested immediately upon entry and disappearing forever: "Those who call Syria safe are wrong. Shots are still being fired. 17 secret services are in action. There are arbitrary arrests, massive surveillance. People are killed because of their religion or origin. Many places are uninhabitable."
"Diplomatic relations with a criminal."
...
Molham El-Khon disagrees:
"Assad and his regime are criminals. There is ample evidence that he used chemical weapons and violated human rights. He tortured tens of thousands of prisoners to death in Syrian prisons. Anyone who wants to establish diplomatic relations with him will establish relations with a criminal, a terrorist."
...
A survey conducted by a Syrian aid organisation under naturally difficult circumstances among 165 returnees showed that 63 percent would prefer to flee again immediately. They fear reprisals, kidnappings and blackmail. Many have no job, live in miserable conditions.
..."

165 is very representative, and they don't say which "aid organisation" - assheads.

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

As long as there is any piece of "western" shit there it will not come to a solution.

"The Berlin Wall Should Be Brought Back & Doubled in Height!": Comments of East Germans
https://www.stalkerzone.org/the-berlin-wall-should-be-brought-back-doubled-in-height-comments-of-east-germans/
As I said when I saw it on tv, Reagan in Berlin and the people shouting "tear down the wall": "These who shout the loudest will want it back and doubled or threefold in height if the wall has fallen!"
Not one understood what I meant.
But there are not only those from eastern Germany, many in the west say the same.
