Not one understood what I meant.
But there are not only those from eastern Germany, many in the west say the same.
Which will disintegrate first, the EU or Germany.
I don't know what you hear outside of Germany, but that is not a split between east and west, it's more like an abyss. Within one year they glues together what didn't fit. Most people thought it would need several years, but there was a pressure to annex the east and rob everything. Something like integration never happened. They (the Treuhand) behaved like in Russia during Yeltsin-era.
30 years on and the rift has been getting only bigger. What do you think the outcome is going to be?
I don't think, this rift is just 30 years old, I think, it goes back to 1950. The "De-Nazification" was done differently by the Russians and the Americans. The Russians cleaned up the mess and the Easter Germans started from the scratch. This chapter is closed for them. The Americans just worked on with the Nazis and implemented a "reeducation" program, developed by the CIA. The Western Germans first understood this hypocrisy very well. So a second and more effective "reeducation" was started in 1968. Now the Western Germans feel guilty for everything. They are just brainwashed. When in 1989-90 the Eastern and Western Germans met again, they could not understand each other anymore. It is not just the Americanized language of the Western Germans (the Eastern Germans have preserved the pure German language), it goes very deep.
I have no idea, what will come. But I have the suspicion, that the current tensions between East and West, right wing and left wing, AfD and the rest are orchestrated again to create a situation like in Ukraine, where the East is Russia calling for help and the West is occupied by US troops.
Since WW2 ended Germany never stopped being occupied duh Only the Soviets left, may be the French too, but never the Anglo-Americans. The East Germany changed from the Soviet occupation to the American one.

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

Background: The SEAL [Gallagher] was acquitted by a military jury in July of murdering a captured and wounded Islamic State fighter in Iraq by stabbing him in the neck, but it convicted him of illegally posing with the detainee’s corpse. That had led to his rank being reduced.
The White House said in November that Trump had restored Gallagher’s rank and had pardoned two Army officers accused of war crimes in Afghanistan.
Critics had said such actions would undermine military justice and sent a message that battlefield atrocities will be tolerated.
Spencer last week suggested a possible split with Trump by telling Reuters that Gallagher should still face a peer review board.

Beni (DR Congo) (AFP) - Protestors stormed a UN peacekeepers' camp near the eastern DR Congo town of Beni on Monday, angered by failures to curb a notorious armed group that killed eight civilians overnight, an AFP reporter said.
Demonstrators invaded one of two camps on the town's outskirts despite gunshots fired by Congolese security forces seeking to disperse the crowd.
Dozens broke into the camp, which had apparently been evacuated, and set fire to a part of it, an AFP reporter saw.
They were among an angry crowd several hundred strong that had headed to the camps after setting fire to Beni town hall, partially damaging it.
The Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) militia has plagued eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for decades, despite the presence of a large UN force and repeated declarations by the government to root it out.
Army spokesman Colonel Mak Hazukai confirmed that the town had been attacked by armed men overnight, telling AFP that "the enemy entered the Boikene quarter and killed eight civilians".
In the town centre, two policemen were seen bleeding heavily from wounds after the morning protest, an AFP reporter saw.
A demonstrator died when police opened fire on Saturday. Two policemen were killed the same day by angry demonstrators, the UN Okapi radio said.
Seventy-seven civilians have been killed in the Beni region since November 5, according to a not-for-profit organisation, the Congo Research Group (CRG).
The army launched an offensive against the ADF on October 30, vowing to "definitively wipe out" armed groups in the lawless east.
The ADF's historical roots lie in Islamist Ugandans opposed to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.
The group has plagued the North Kivu region bordering Uganda since the Congo Wars in the 1990s, although its membership has since broadened to non-Ugandans and it has not carried out an attack in Uganda for years.
The so-called Islamic State group has claimed some of the attacks ascribed to the ADF this year.

Uruguay's presidential election is too close to call, the South American country's electoral court says.
The provisional count gives conservative Senator Luis Lacalle Pou a narrow lead over his left-wing rival, Daniel Martínez.
The electoral court said the margin was so narrow it would not declare a winner until the official count had finished, which could take days.
