I am wondering, that nobody here seems to talk about, what is happening in Germany right now. Merkel is violating basic and fundamental principles of democracy. She is basically reverting and cancelling the result of a free and democratic election of the governor (Ministerpräsident) of the Freestate of Thuringia and forcing the new elected governor to resign immediately and she is hunting down all members of her own party, who are supporting him. This is a witch-hunt like Stalin hunted down the "Trotskists" or Hitler hunted down the supporters of Röhm (night of the long knives). Unfortunately I don't have English articles about this.

Basically, I am not that interested in parliamentarianism and party-political chichi. The only thing that concerns me is whether they have it in mind to enthrone the Blackrocker Merz as chancellor. 

As far as democracy matters, in Dschömani there is such a thing at best in pigeon fanciers' or similar associations. My last illusions about this I lost in the 90s.
