I think this because Putin while demonstrating that he will provide assistance to Assad against foreign jihadis sponsored by the west, he will not use Russian assets against state actors, evidence this by his acquiescence to repeated Israeli attacks upon Syria and American attacks on Syria. Putin is indecisive and other nations read this indecisiveness. Erdogan figures Putin lets Americans steal oil resources, Putin let’s Israel use Damascus as a bombing range so he figures he will get his slice too, logical. Putin was merely going to use sanctions card here but Russia MOD has had enough. Assad helped Putina economy, he simply could have let the pipelines go through and he would have not had all these problems. Putin needs to get off the fence and stop Hoping for crumbs off the table from the West.

Russia said it won't take a side against anybody. This is why Russia do not act against Israel. Russia is in Syria to eliminate terrorists. ISIS, Al-Qaeda and all their offshoots. Turks, wnadering along ISIS guys, are legitimate targed. Israeli airforce is not. And yeah, I don't like this logic. But this is how it works I guess...

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".
