AS-Source News / MILITARYPart alternation mark
@ASBMilitary

Eyes on Sirte. Major battle to start within next 24h. This is now an international conflict. Egypt, Russia (seems to sit back), Libya, Turkey.

It’s Turkey vs Egypt mainly, if not Russia LNA vs Turkey GNA.

Anyway, GNA will 99% try to take back sirte in the following hours.

If a true world war does break out - and if anybody is left to talk about it - I often wonder at the difficulty in trying to figure out the spark that began it all.

I'm fairly certain it's already happened, but how far back to go?

It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.

Dunno, maybe "Putsch" of Yeltsin, or the war on Yugoslavia? The invention of the "Clash of Civilisations", 9/11 or the encirclement of Russia with "rebellions" in the southern neighbouring regions, the NATO expansion to the East ...

Lots of sparks.

According to reports 11 soldiers of Azerbaijani forces died while there are no losses for the Armenians.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of #Turkey

Personally I think, this new Armenian-Azeri conflict is set up to separate Turkey and Iran, who have cooperated in Northern Iraq against the Kurds. Turkey is strictly anti-Armenian and Iran is pro-Armenian. Russia is also pro-Armenian. This could also end the cooperation between Russia and Turkey in Syria. From an Iranian point of view Azerbaijan is an Israeli proxy. At the moment the Armenians seem to be more successful, but when Turkey interferes, we will see, how long it will take, till Iran and Russia will be involved too.

Yes, I also think, there is one plan behind all of this: Hagia Sophia, Armenia-Azerbaijan, Libya, Iraq, Syria ..

Maybe in Sirte Russia is staying out of the mess and Turkey will take the place. This hopefully leads to a revolution in Egypt and the end of as-Sissi. Turkey will be overstretched in Armenia, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Greece and and and.... Hopefully there is enough opposition to Erdogan to topple him too, when the Turks see, that they are threatened from all sides by this reckless policy. And then I would love to see Greek, Russian, Armenian, Iranian troops on Turkish soil to do, what should have been done back in 1830 already....

China May Cut Rare Earth Material Supply to Lockheed Martin in Sanctions Move Grinning face with smiling eyeshttps://defenseworld.net/news/27416/China_May_Cut_Rare_Earth_Material_Supply_to_Lockheed_Martin_in_Sanctions_Move#.Xw7cx2hZPWU.twitter

China is the world's largest rare-earth exporter, and the US imports about 80 percent of its rare-earth needs from China.

While Lockheed Martin does not have any direct business in China, it may have parts and material suppliers operate there.
China will restrict the supply chain of Lockheed Martin, including non-metals, metals and minerals including rare earths from China,
via its suppliers who do have businesses with China.
Other component manufacturers and system designers that are related to China
could also be restricted from doing business with Lockheed Martin as part of the sanctions.

It should be noted that the Libyan National Army has yet to issue an official statement about the possession of these air defense systems.
While the LNA has been observed using the Russian-made Pantsir-S1 system, the S-300 has not been seen in the arsenal of the Libyan National Army.

Sovereign alliance.
One of Iran's new radar systems, the Monitor, has a range of 400km.
it will be considered the first decision after signing the latest agreement on military and technical cooperation between the two countries.
