My opinion about München is: The British were traitors (to the Tschechs), but not stupid. Their plan was to prepare Germany for a war against Russia. They did not "appease" Germany for nothing, they wanted to get something in return. Churchill accused Chamberlain not to understand Hitler (that he maybe didn't want to fight against Russia and to take all the "appeasement" for free.)
For now: Erdogan is just a big mouth and hypocrite and as-Sisi is a traitor and coward. If they really start a Turkish (and Iran, Hezbollah, Qatar etc.)-Egyptian (French, Greece, Israel, Bahrein, UAE, Saudis etc.) war over this, I only hope the Egyptians and Turks wake up and topple their leaders.

Of course. Hitler was, at certain level, controled opposition. (Post)colonial powers were shitting their pants watching USSR. They were ready to sacrifice Slavs in order to get rid of Soviets. You know, western nations were seen as allies to us, following the WWI. Namely with France we had defence agreement. As well as with Russia/USSR. Only USSR warned and opposed nazi growth and our occupation. None of our western "allies" moved finger. Contrary, they allowed occupation and, in fact, started WWIII.
And, after all, same goes for the US. There was large support for nazi Germany back in the days. My opinion is that US entered the war just because theyrealised that Hitler is fucked up by Soviets and Red Army would not stop its march till reaching shores of Spain and Portugal.

The Security Council rejects a draft resolution to extend the arms embargo on Iran. Iran can now buy and sell weapons from October 18th.
