So much bravado coming from America. And all of them of course are holding their smartphones, recording for da internet. Parading around in a full combat gear, is just so pathetic, all of it. Either do it already or stop with the clown show. I don't even follow must of the stuff going on over there but what you see is mostly like a movie set. I don't think they have the courage to cross over the line and start a war. They like to dress up though, those bandanas with nasty smiles painted on look real cool.

3 aircraft lost in the #UnitedStates in a week
On September 3, in Onslow County, a USMC Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion from New River AFB (Jacksonville) crashed. Due to a fire in the engine, the helicopter made an emergency landing in a field, where it completely burned down.

The counter-argument to this is nobody wants to kick anyone out of their living place, particularly the landlord as it is hard to get a good renter relationship established and changing renters is expensive. People who write things like this are the type of people who think that every landlord is a 1%'er - not hardly!
When the landlord hasn't been paid for 4-6 months something has to give. Nobody is writing stimulus checks to the owner of the buildings in the united states, they have just been left to rot - like they have to provide everybody housing for free for an indeterminate amount of time because of the flu. In the U.S. for quite some time the tenants have been told that the Landlord cannot evict under any circumstance, so a huge portion of renters have been squatting without paying a single dime. Now after 4 months of paying nothing they are starting to be evicted.
it costs money to supply these rentals to the market. You typically have to pay the mortgage on the building, pay the taxes on the property, do the repairs caused by the tenants, do all of the required ongoing maintenance on the building, A U.S. tenant often completely trashes the rental so you have to factor that in for when they leave, on and on and on. You aren't making a killing on this like a typical renter or twitter blogger thinks.
Every landlord is trying their best to work through this and lower rents and allow a deferred payment schedule and all sorts of things - and I don't know how Europe's renters are, but there is a huge fraction of renters in the USA that have taken serious advantage of this and if they have they gotta go or there will be no housing for them at all. Landlords can't do this for free forever it doesn't work that way.

The biggest problem here is imho that US government can spend trillions on waging wars around the globe, syphons tax money and transfers them to the pockets of private military contractors or even give them as aid to foreign entities (Israel) but is not willing to do anything for own people. Ultra-rich being richer every day, especially during this crisis. More and more US troops being moved around the globe. This useless, and oftenly illegal, deployment is not for free either. That's billions thrown out of window. Meanwhile there is not enough money to support people, and yes, even landlords, affected by COVID.

but what about stealing? what bout fraud? what about SEXUAL (OR CHILD) ABUSE??
