I have no final opinion about this Covid-crisis. I have already given several hints to my opinion, but I try to summarize:

For the moment we don't know the exact source of this virus. But non-the-less it started in Wuhan. It seems clear, that the Chinese government knew about it at least from December 2019 onwards. What happened to this Doctor 李 (Li or Lee) is typical in the Chinese system. He found some cases similiar to SARS in the hospital at Wuhan in mid-December and was talking about these cases with his class-mates (he had not finished his doctoral studies and he was from the Manchu-nationality not the Han-nationality and he was a member of the Chinese Communist Party). This chat took place in a private wechat-group. But one of his class mates talked openly on wechat about these cases and that masks would be useful. Masks are normal in China. Everyone is wearing a mask, not because it is ordered by the government, but they wear it agains air pollution, cold, etc. They are always asking me, why I don't wear a mask. The mask does not have the same connotations as in the West. But, when this wechat talking went on in December among medical students and their families, first the security department of the hospital interfered and told them to shut up. But they went on. 李 was called to the local police station and forced to sign a paper to shut up. But he went home and posted this paper online. So it was too late. And the officials in Bejing learnt about these cases. This was brought before the Peoples Law Court. And 李 was fully rehabilitated and the local officials were punished and replaced. This is typical, because in the Chinese hierarchy the lowest level is doing the real work and all the levels between the lowest and the highest are just writing reports and they don't care about real problems, they just want to send positive reports to the higher levels. But the higher levels depend on these "positive" reports. So real problems are never solved, unless they get out of control and the highest level can learn about them and interfere. So 李 was first intimidated and now he is a national hero.

In the meantime it was January. This is important because in mid-January all Chinese return to their families. This is a big migration all over China. And then Ji Xinping gave a speach about the new virus. At this time I also had left my working place and was in my winter holidays in Cambodia.
When the lockdown over Wuhan was announced, all Chinese were with their families already. So it was better to wait these four weeks from mid-December to mid-January, because a lockdown on the working places would have been a catastrophy. This lockdown at Wuhan was extremley strict. It would have been impossible to impose such a lockdown on a city in the West.

In the meantime in Cambodia: nothing. No orders by the government, simply nothing. During February the numbers in China were going down and I hoped to return to my workplace in time at the beginning of March. But now it was different. The Chinese government had allowed all Chinese to return to their families at the beginning of the New Year holidays, but now they were reluctant to let them return to their working places. All schools and universities were still closed and the students were at home. So I waited in Cambodia. But mid-March the Cambodian government did not extend/renew the tourist visas anymore. If I would have returned to China at this time, I would have to go to a hotel, because my appartment was locked. So I jumped over the border to Laos on Friday 13th of March and went to a hotel I knew.

And now the cases went up in the West. So at the end of march the Chinese government blocked all our visas. I was trapped in Laos.
China was blocked, Cambodia was blocked, in Europe this strange virus was spreading like wildfire. But I had found the best place to hide and survive on earth. Laos was like the eye of the hurrican. No tests, nearly no cases. It was like paradise. No government orders, apart from the closure of the border. No foreigners in and no Lao out. My tourist visa was renewed every month and every month came my money from China. Interestingly the Chinese workers, who are building the railroad from Yunnan through Laos to Thailand, did not return to China during this lockdown. They just went on working. Of course tourism was breaking down. I was the only customer in this hotel. Luckily it was in a small village, so no much traffic, just between the Mekong river and a Buddhist temple. But there were more foreigners, than I had expected. They all didn't want to return. No one wanted to be saved.

Bangkok (Thailand) was a little bit different. Too many tourists and more cases. And stricter measurements. Many Lao workers are blocked to return to their work station in Thailand. This is one of the reasons, why the Thai students are angry about their king and it seems to be punishable to criticise the king. And the Thai got angry about the Chinese. They arrested a whole punch of Chinese tourists out of a sex show.

Strange were also some cruise ships. One of them called at Sianoukville (Cambodia). No tests. They just left the ship to go to some massage parlours. Later in Malaysia they got tested and had some cases. A river cruise from Vietnam up the Mekong was stopped in Cambodia and finally there were some cases (British tourists).

In August the Chinese government started lifting the travel ban. Lao Airways got permission to send two planes per week to China and they are fully responsible for the passengers. If there is one case or one cannot pay for the quarantine in China, they will lose this permit immediately. Finally in September the Chinese government unblocked all our visas. So I went to the Chinese Embassy in Vientiane to get one. They want to see a negative Covid 19 test first. This test is only valid for 72 hours. So I was busy getting the test and my ticket. In the Laos medical station I saw a lorry or van from Gates' origanisation (Maybe they are preparing everything for the vaccine). But then the Chinese celebrated their National Holiday and the Moon Festival and were unable to open the consular section of the Embassy. But now finally I am back in China and in quarantine. The Chinese personnal at the airport is very nice and they are doing a good job. Everything is perfectly organized.

No second wave here! In Laos not even a first wave.

So, what I think, is: Yes, this is a virus. It seems to be more aggressive than normal flu. The masks are a Western misunderstanding. These masks do not protect you to get infected. This they cannot do. But they can protect other people, if you are infected. Not wearing a mask is considered egoistic in Asia. But this is seen as typical Western: Western people only care for themself and not for other people. In China the full costs at the hospital are covered by the state if you are positive. So it must spread like wildfire in countries like US. And like all illnesses, there are asymptomatic cases and they are contagious. This is nothing new.

But I think the West welcomed this virus. A new economical crisis is overdue. Since the Banking crisis we are in an artificial bubble. This bubble must burst. And there is too much money out of thin air (creatio ex nihilo: a typical Christian and Jewish idea). I think this lockdown is profitable for the biggest players in the market. They have enough worthless money to buy out all the middle and small businesses, who cannot survive this time without income. It seems to be clear now, that the World Bank is enforcing these measures, because Belorussia refused to play according to the rules and made it public.

In China the lockdown is lifted, business is back to normal. We have to wait and see, whether the Chinese economy will survive without big losses. But they can throw worthless US dollars now and buy as much as possible in Europe.

In the West the small number of big players want to save their asses. Lets see, what will happen. Personally, I hope for a revolution. Especially with a close or disputed outcome of the elections in US. The provoked crises in Belorussia, Aserbaijan, Kyrgystan and Thailand could become more serious.

At the same day, in evening hours, he recieved a message that he has to visit local hygienic station (dunno if this is corret term in English, just a govt. building dedicated to public hygiene, epidemies etc.) with his daughter. She was asymtomatic but he has another daughter and she had som of symptoms - just common cold or flu. Yet again, it was Friday. Whole weekend was testing center closed, on Monday they had no time so it was after 5 days, on Tuesday, when he was accepted in the test center. He tested his symptomless daughter and he asked if other fam members will be tested as well. They said they won't test none of them, including symptomatic daughtere, till test restult will be positive. So they waited another two days for result. It's 7 days already, potentionally infected people are free to walk around, you know. Killing virus. After one week he had positive result for his asymptomatic daughter and other family members were called for testing. Symptomatic daughter, as well as he himslef, were found positive.

So it took about 9 days to undergo this process. But funny part is yet to come. Only one of them, already symptomatic daughter, was somehow sick. It was common flu, by symptoms, fever was was over in two days, without any special treatment. And he and other daughter just rised statistic of sick people. He literally said to me that he spent his quaranteen with concreeting and other building works on his new house. It was middle of september and there was quite hot weather. He literally said "After I concreted whole day in such heat and moved 70kg concrete ring then I felt exhousted a evening and I had 37,3 temp"

And if this is not ridiculous enough then here's icing on the top: If you're tested positively for COVID and, after 10 days, you feel no symptoms, you are free to go to work. No further tessts, no confirmation, If you think you're okay then move on.

So this is Corona pandemy for 90% of infected! That's first hand experience of healthy, middle age man and his family.

It seems clear, this so-called "second wave" is a fake. During the last weeks I had no time to check the new statistics from Europe, but now I see them. It looks like a full blown "second wave" worse even than the "first wave".

This explains, why the Chinese let their people travel to Europe without any problem. They know, it is a fake. Chinese people can enter Germany without a quarantine now. When they return, they all go through a strict 14 days quarantine. You can never be sure, if there is one among them bringing in a real dangerous disease.

This does not rule out, that there was a real virus in the beginning of the year. And I still have no idea, if this virus was artificial or natural and if artificial, if it was created by the Chinese or by the Americans or what ever.

At the moment it looks like, there is a healthy China and there is a sick West.

Thank you for your posts. I agree with your conclusions in general. What I can say is that:

I don't believe that face masks protects others. Actually this was the reason, during so-called 1st wave I became skeptic. Because our government ordered to us to wear them and they said it will be good to make them on our own from any cloth we have. Complete bullshit. Cloth masks are useless. So I recognized the whole pandemy is suspicious. And you can go back, right in this topic. I defended measures taken against the virus previously. It's natural, if you deal with something new the you should be cautious. But this cloth mask rule completely ruined this aproach for me. There are literally decades of medical studies related to face masks and their relation to infection transmission. It's quite rare but the studies are mostly in consensus on this topic: face masks have zero effect on infection transmission. And most of this studies was done in controlled, hospital enviroment. In common life, when people take of and put on their masks repeatedly it's probably even worse and face masks are probably even source of infections. I know coleagues, right from my office, who use same disposable face mask for about one month. One of studies to back my thoughts:

Regarding virus origin - I see strange sequence of events as US support for coronavirus (with financial support and direc involvement of dr. Fauci), Event 201 and World military games launcehd at exact same date and reports about infected troops that came out months later, after "pandemy" wass already in effect.

I don't even think lockdowns work anyhow. Just today I've read an article about effective Israeli lockdown. Naturally it's yet another bullshit selling out totalitarian measures as tool of health protection. What happens if you lock down everyone? No one comes to be tested just for fun, as many people do. And, more importantly, you have no people to track and call them for testing because everyone sits at home. It's about tests. The more you test the more "infected you have. Most of "sick" people is completely healthy actually.

Just for comparison - we have usually about 10 - 15% of population infected with common seasonal flu viruses. This number is based only on cases reported to medical staff. In other words it's number of people who decided to visit their doctors with a flu. Can you imagine how big would be a number of "infected" if there will be same approach applied as is to COVID-19? Tracking of peple who were in contact with someone with a flu, random tests, tests of people who come just for nothing... There would be about 50% of population "infected" I think. Because we all have some amount of flu viruses, especially during a flu season. And only our immune system decides if we fall sick or nnot. This testing mania and its results is yet another bullshit.
