The problem for the so-called 'Centrists' is that despite all their supposed morality they still won't acknowledge that it's their world of - Illegal wars, PFI contracts, lack of social housing, privatisation, banking deregulation, etc - that fueled all the turmoil we face today.

Jeremy Corbyn defends 'British Zionist' comments
Jeremy Corbyn has defended comments he made about a group of British Zionists having "no sense of English irony", saying he is careful with language now.
A 2013 clip was published by the Daily Mail as the Labour leader works to tackle anti-Semitism in his party.
Luciana Berger, a Jewish Labour MP, had said hearing Mr Corbyn's speech made her feel "unwelcome" in the party.
Mr Corbyn said he used the term Zionist in an "accurate political sense and not as a euphemism for Jewish people".

As far as I know, most Zionists think that I have the right to 'return' to Israel but Palestinians don't. I suspect that this might have been the irony that Corbyn was referring to. https://t.co/jktKtymLMS

The Labour leader called for radical reform of the "failing" news media in a speech at the Edinburgh TV Festival.
Other ideas include a "digital licence fee" - paid for by big tech companies and internet providers - and publishing data on BBC employees' social class.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm not sure MSM propagandists will be so keen however.

Well the police don't have the best of relations with the black community and the Notting Hill festival is a predominantly black culture event, so they are given instructions to try and diffuse tensions where possible, to not appear confrontational and reduce chances of violence during the festival by occasionally going along with festival goers requests for photos and such.

Oh God, lol. I just noticed the white family watching on in horror in the house behind. The Notting Hill area used to be a dumping ground for Caribbean migrants, then it was gentrified by the white British upper-middle class.

It wants MPs and activists to submit a motion at the Labour conference next month, committing the party to backing a new referendum on the final deal.
It stresses that it is not an attempt to change the party leadership too.
Campaign leaders think the best way to get a new referendum is to get the main opposition party to back it officially.

Corbyn is a complete joke, and, if they think he was the best man to lead them, "Things won't only get better" for Labour. He won't keep the red flag flying there much longer.

I've always tended to think that Corbyn doesn't have that presence about him or the charisma to be a leader. Nevertheless, he is a voice for many of those who are dissatisfied with the way the establishment are running roughshod over the majority of us with their poisonous policies at home and abroad. I think we could agree that the current Labour shadow government is better than the pro-war, pro-corporations, pro-bankster policies that the previous Labour Leaders of recent times have been in favour of.
Corbyn started off as leader with a more of a fringe level of support, but as time has gone on for one reason or another he has seen his ratings swell. So much so that we nearly had a hung parliament at the last election. Could he become PM? Stranger things have happened... Trump with no history as a politician was unfancied by many but somehow managed to gather enough support to win the Presidency.

A criminal gang which was flying burglars from Chile into the UK to target wealthy homes in the South East has been dismantled, police have said.
Luxury items worth more than £1m were stolen by the thieves, who targeted hundreds of homes then shipped some of the goods out of the country.
Police disrupted the gang by tracking vehicles used in several burglaries.
The Met has arrested 36 men in the past eight months, while another 39 have been held by other forces.
The investigation, known as Operation Genie, started following a spate of burglaries in south-west London and Surrey in 2017.

Corbyn is way too far left. I forget what happened at the second to last General Election but he was fairing very badly and only gained a lot of support for a huge gaff by the Tories. Oh, I think it was something to do with Student Loans. You could see the look on his face when he saw an opening to cast an assault and he handled that quite meagerly. Don't forget the wars Labour has got us into with Blair. I, quite frankly, have no trust or faith in Corbyn leading our country.

I'm not of the generations of those who lived under the Labour governments pre-Thatcher. I've often heard of how bad things were under the typical sort of left-wing governments back then and why, so I can why there are those who might be apprehensive of Corbyn (and that I'm not apprehensive enough perhaps ).
What I do know is all of those who have assumed the Leadership of all the main parties over the past couple of decades have been fervent supporters of the rotten globalist policies. All that changed when Corbyn became leader. He isn't beholden to those who have an interest in foreign war and killing for corporate profit, or those who have a hand in creating the economic and social woes we see back home. Corbyn is anti-EU, May is pro-EU. They are constantly trying to destroy him in the daily media because he isn't willing to submit to these globalist types.
Even if Corbyn isn't the answer then maybe he could be the catalyst to something better, a bit like what Farage has tried to do. If anything, it's refreshing to see an opposition leader who actually lives upto that word and actually believes in something opposite rather than being another one of those corporate stooges who pay lip service.

Raneem Oudeh had made a "number of calls" to West Midlands Police on Sunday but officers were initially "unsuccessful" in locating her.
While contact was being made the "situation quickly escalated" and officers were sent to Northdown Road in Solihull early on Monday morning.
