Well this is quite a significant development actually. Soccer is a sport with high levels of global reach and popularity. If the majority of the teams from around the world start refusing to play against Israel then it would be very damning for Israel. Hence why they are scrambling to get Netanyahu to intervene over a simple soccer match.

If the majority of the teams from around the world start refusing to play against Israel then it would be very damning for Israel. Hence why they are scrambling to get Netanyahu to intervene over a simple soccer match.

Israeli baby is Maccabi basketball club. If they would block them from competing in Euroleague it would hurt them most.

Not a single country from the middle east, Africa, South Asia and large parts of Latin America play sports with Israel as it is but as long as America gives israel billions of dollars a year it won't matter unfortunately, Once the American funds are cut off israel is finished.

I don't really watch much basketball. The Euro basketball season already ended I guess... It'll be interesting to see what happens at the start of the next season then. Maybe this protest gathers steam in basketball also, and teams will refuse to play against Maccabi.
