In a totally unsurprising development, it turns out the Chinese embassy also remains fully operational in Kabul.
I am just spending a rainy afternoon in a bathhouse watching Chinese news (CCTV 13).
The send every hour for about 25 minutes all the pictures from Kabul we have seen already, but the way they present it, is interesting.
First the Taliban in the presidential palace, then street scenes, very peacefully with many men in traditional clothing, then the US embassy with smoke rising and the helicopters flying back and forth and again peaceful street scenes. They even interview the people in the streets. Unfortunately I could not see, Chinese walking in the streets. Maybe they sent their interpreters to do this.
A full section was about comparing the pictures from Saigon with Kabul. Behind the speaker they had an interesting skyline of Kabul with the picture from Saigon cut into it. They compared both events extensively.
The news ended with a picture of the webpage of the Chinese embassy in Kabul and the telephone number of it. This should clearly show, that it is fully operational.

The Turkish embassy seems to be open also. This is strange. The Taliban had their HQ in Doha before the fall of Kabul. There are US troops and there is the HQ of the Muslim Brotherhood. Maybe behind the curtains the Taliban had a deal with them.

I've read reports about evacuation of Turkish personnel. Not sure if the whole embassy of just partial evacuation though.

The Taliban should immediately destroy all heroin production, supplies and poppy fields. That would be a very nasty blow against the West, especially the CIA and other profiteers.

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".
