I stopped going to pubs when the smoking ban came in 2009. Since then at least half the pubs in Britain have closed.
I do miss them, it was the only social life I had.

At 56 Im happy to just sit on the porch and have a few whiskeys,I have joined a walking group and walk 5km a day Monday to Friday its good we regularly have bbq and picnics in parks and forests,you should check that sort of thing out- I was sitting at home getting all worked up about the world and it wasn't good because it isn't headed anywhere good. I intend to spend some time away from computers and to have some fun before the knock on my door comes,the more you pressure me the more I dig my toes in so I probably will come to a sticky end but hey who wants to live forever

Unfortunately, I could not prevent my daughter from giving in to the pressure. She didn't really let herself be vaccinated voluntarily, she was afraid that she would be threatened with other repressions, that she wouldn't be able to continue her education. I don't know if I could have resisted just as well at the age of 19.

No, she is absolutely not that kind of teenager. She was far too reasonable even as a small child. I never tried to drill her or to discipline her beyond a minimum level. Like me, she would have gladly accepted such inconveniences as not going to the cinema, since she doesn't smoke or take any other drugs, she doesn't think much of pubs or the like. Rather, she wouldn't have been allowed to go to the zoo or the museum.

I use the Yandex browser. I used to use Yandex as a search engine as well. Unfortunately, CCleaner hacked up the settings for me to run it in German, and I can't figure out how I did it the first time. Now I mostly use Goggle, but it takes a lot of luck to find what I'm looking for. Since I last used CCleaner about 3 weeks ago, my system is even slower than before, the test phase has expired.

OK, I've made no effort to keep my knowledge up to date in the last few years, I've had too much other trouble.

But I don't think it's because of the browser if more and more sites want to install a tracker? They certainly don't come up with the idea on their own that the "services" are undersupplied with data.
