The Federal Drug Administration issued a ruling Tuesday that essentially begins a final review process
that will determine whether hospitals can use RFID systems from the Palm Beach, Fla.-based company to identify patients
and/or permit relevant hospital staff to access medical records, said Angela Fulcher, vice president of marketing and sales at VeriChip.

VeriChip sells 11-millimeter RFID tags that get implanted in the fatty tissue below the right tricep.
When near one of Verichip's scanners, the chip wakes up and radios an ID number to the scanner.
If the number matches an ID number in a database, a person with the chip under his or her skin can enter a secured room or complete a financial transaction.

Technically, the FDA on Tuesday issued a letter stating that there were no equivalent products on the market.
This allowed VeriChip to then seek a de novo, or additional, review. The application process started in October 2003.
The Italian Ministry of Health kicked off a six-month trial of the chips for hospitals in April.

VeriChip, a division of Applied Digital Solutions, generated headlines worldwide recently
with the announcement that the Attorney General of Mexico implanted one of the small company's RFID tags in his arm.

The idea for employing the tags to identify humans came after the horror of the Sept. 11, 2001,
attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, Fulcher said.

About 7,000 VeriChip tags have been sold, and approximately 1,000 have been inserted in humans. The chips only work with VeriChip's scanners.
So far, most of the sales have been outside the United States.
Sales have also taken place in Russia, Switzerland, Venezuela and Colombia.

I had a look at that. As others on the Twitter thread stated, it's down to frame interpolation used to slow the footage down. The other comments mentioned the use of Twixtor, but there are many programs now that can do a much better job. I might even have a shot myself.

It is half true and half wrong.
Yes, there is an app on the smartphone. This app can recognize your position and memorizes all positions for two weeks. Every region has to report the number of cases to Beijing. My students can see this in the internet. From the number of cases every region gets a kind of rating. This rating is changing permanently depending on the number of cases. You can travel everywhere. No region is blocked.
But when you return from a "dangerous" region and want to enter a "non-dangerous" it is getting tricky. If this "non-dangerous" region is your residence, you can enter and return home. But your smartphone is only checked on public transport stations. No taxi-driver is asking for your smartphone. But most Chinese pay the taxi-driver with their smartphone. I pay cash. No restaurant is asking for the smartphone. Again most pay with it. I am a regular customer in a traditional bath-house. Nobody is asking me for a smartphone.  
If you want to visit a "non-dangerous" region and come  from or cross a "dangerous" region and arrive by public transport, you cannot enter, because you have to pass  the only checkpoint on the public transport station.
I avoid public transport and I have no smartphone.
If the region of your residence is a "dangerous" region, and you enter a supermarket or a bath-house, they ask you for your telephone number and address, because, if any case shows up in this place, you get notified.
No one is wearing a mask.

In the video, the woman is a "modern" woman, she is using her smartphone for everything. So maybe she is in a trap. Like most Chinese she cannot even imagine to live without.

Even on public transport I show my ticket and my address and everything is ok.

They don't understand the advantage of an independent and neutral state between two powers. They only think: If I don't take it, he will take it.
This thinking is dangerous and must be extinguished.
