I can recall when "somebody" altered the entry for the Su25 some time before the downing of the Malaysian airliner over Ukraine. Initial BBC report (later "disappeared" from the website) interviewed eye-witnesses that saw a pair of Ukrainian Su25's climbing towards the airliner just before it was shot down. Wikipedia entry was altered to lower the service ceiling, but it was done a year or two previously. Perhaps part of the exhaustive planning over Ukraine way ahead of time? Or maybe that's a stretch, but I don't think so.
