I have posted before some clips about Ambulance delays in Australia well today the Sunday Mail revealed just how bad the situation is here in Queensland Australia,Im quite amazed actually its the first time in a long time Ive seen a Rupert Murdoch newspaper attempt actual journalism.

Here are some of the horror stories,1.dead woman severe abdominal pain 9hr wait for help,family call emergency 6 times,dead elderly woman 2hr wait as ambulances under extreme pressure,dead elderly woman 3hr wait,dead woman in 'pending' queue for 1 hour,dead suicidal woman stretched paramedics take 2 hours to arrive,Dead elderly woman 3hr wait,severely septic,dead patient 45 minute wait,struggling to breathe,dead man family told to drive him to hospital due to workload,dead elderly woman 90 min wait ambulance officers claim they did not eat for 12hrs that day,dead severely bleeding man 90 minutes,dead woman head injury 3 and a half hour wait and hospital ramping,dead man 9hr wait 43 ambulances ramped.etc etc

You get the idea.

This is also happening in other states,and possibly in your country too.

The world has changed if you call for help in may not come; first I recommend the book,The Survival Medicine Handbook,for when help is not on its way by Joseph and Amy Alton.

Secondly if you can find an affordable emergency first aid course that covers bleeding,cpr etc I suggest you take it they may not be available forever.
