Why do you show outdated videos?

to prove my point that allepo was destroyed and it has to be rebuild. new buildings (if they are made up to standard) are not to prone to collapse even if earthquake is 9 (or even more). just take a look at japan. only superficial damage is on buildings that are made to be Earthquake-Proof. turkey (and that area) is prone to earthquakes. it is known fact. those buildings should be still standing.

building (that are up to standard) are still standing. including skyscrapers. those building were not build to be earthquake resistant becuase somebody wanted to save money. while still knowing that turkey has high possibility for earthquakes.

i am not in the businesses of convincing anybody. i just state facts (as i see them). i also may be wrong.

for example.i was wrong. it was not turkeys air force that downed that russian plane (that is another incident) it was missile from the ground.

Shallow earthquakes are very destructive over a small area. Tohoku was in the ocean and Tokyo was 4-500km away, like Ankara is from epicenters now.
Most buildings in the Turkey and Syryia affected zones are old. Europeans build for generation - stone, brick, concrete - not for 30-50 years like in US where most buildings are wooden frame that would rot. There were no codes when Gaziantep or Aleppo fortress were built either and there is no warranty that any building would survive a +7.5. Wet and sandy soil could liquify and swallow the strongest building.
Destruction level is based on many factors - P, S waves, building resonance frequency, soil structure and water saturation and duration of earthquake among others . Generally, the shaking intensity does not increase after a 7.0-7.5 magnitude. From there on, the magnitude is given mainly by duration. A magnitude 9 earthquake (energy release) can last +5 minutes.
The drop in ocean floor level causes tsunami and that is not necessarily linked to magnitude. A 7.5 magnitude earthquake with a significant floor drop can generate a much more devastating tsunami than a deeper 9 will.

Lawmakers Propose Letting Massachusetts Prisoners Donate Organs for Reduced Sentences

A new bill proposed on Beacon Hill would allow Massachusetts prisoners to donate their organs for reduced sentences.
The legislation would give people anywhere from 60 days to a year off their prison sentence
“on the condition that the incarcerated individual has donated bone marrow or organ(s).”
The “act to establish the Massachusetts incarcerated individual bone marrow and organ donation program”
is sponsored by Democratic Reps. Judith Garcia, of Chelsea, and Carlos Gonzalez of Springfield.

They say it would “restore bodily autonomy to incarcerated folks”
and expand the pool of donors, especially for people of color who struggle to find a match.

They have good coordination between artillery, tracked armored fighting vehicles and infantry. Obviously, their communication systems are still operational. And because they can not win in direct duels with russian artillery they decided to fight close to the enemy almost to hug him.

It was at Stalingrad that Chuikov developed the important tactic of “hugging the enemy,” by which under-armed Soviet soldiers kept the German army so close to them as to minimize the superior firepower enjoyed by the Wehrmacht. Chuikov had witnessed firsthand the blitzkrieg tactics the Nazis had used to sweep across the Russian steppe, so he used the Germans' carpet-bombing of the city to draw panzer units into the rubble and chaos, where their progress was impeded. Here they could be destroyed with Molotov cocktails and Russian artillery operating at close range.
