Re: #123 - Main news thread - conflicts, terrorism, crisis from around the globe
I spent a lot of time on you tube today the amount of imbeciles promoting the end of the world is legion ,this includes countless 'Christian' channels all of whom conveniently forget the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem as outlined in Isaiah and the millenium reign of Christ if you read the book there is at least 1007 years left.
Whether these people are controlled opposition or simply clueless I do not know but don't fall for the end is nigh bs ,our civilization may be on the way out but the world will be here a while yet.
Secondly if you expect the end you often get it just ask Jim Jones or David Koresh ...,and the rest of the world will continue as it always has.

For the first time in modern history, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia are simultaneously moving military forces to the borders with Belarus and Russia.
All three countries are preparing for a total land blockade of Belarus and by extension the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad.
Beginning to look like the start of WWII with the enclave Dantzig.
Nato preparing for war?
Doubtful. NATO will have to help their allies in Africa to take Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso. That is a second front with long and complicated supply lines. Supply lines to fight Belarus and Russia are also over extended and long. Poland is now a logistical hub and in case of attack on Belarus Poland would get attacked and supply would be disrupted. Ukraine would certainly have even less ammo and equipment, and they already do not have enough equipment and are teetering on the verge of collapse.
Asia would also get active. If NATO is preparing for war, it would be WW3. In any case, war on 2 or more continents is considered a world war. If a new front in Africa opens, then we are in a world war. Logistically, it is suicide. There is not enough industrial capacity and energy in NATO countries to wage war in Asia, Africa and Europe at the same time. In my humble opinion. I could be wrong.
But there are very worrying developments in last couple of week.

Ukrainian media are massively publishing footage from the site of the strike. It hit the bridge on the Arabatskaya Strelka in Genichesk, Kherson region.
There is no official information about the damage yet.

Edit: Pics. Apparently nothing that can't be repaired in a day or two.

This is not the first time such an incident has occurred. Last September, the Americans responded with only one Coast Guard cutter to meet a missile cruiser escorted by two more Chinese and four Russian ships. However, this time, the US demonstrated "American resolve" by sending four destroyers, U.S. Air Force combat assets, and even P-8 Poseidon patrol aircraft.
The U.S. Heritage Foundation has referred to this event as "historic.

Play god has always been their wet dream.
Infrastructure for digital ID (and CBDC) is considerably complex and has to be constantly monitored and maintained. It needs a lot of people who are highly specialized to work. We are talking only about maintenance of existing (future) system. Not about upgrading. That is a whole new set of problems. If they want such a system to be operational, they need people to keep it operational. China has its own system. They can not rely on Chinese to operate such a system without acknowledging that Chinese are going to use such a system in their own interest. Which is logical.
With destruction of Europe and (or) US, such a system would have too many problems with day to day operation. It is not feasible in long run. From technical perspective.
Also, (for example) ASML is the only manufacturer of EUV lithography machines, which revolutionized semiconductors. Advanced Semiconductor Materials Lithography is a Dutch multinational corporation founded in 1984.
If Europe is destroyed, then there is no way to make EUV lithography machines. The only other place to make such a machine is China, and they are 2 or 3 generations behind. Without EUV lithography machines, there are no new processors. If there are no new processors, then digital id does not work. And that is just a machine that makes processors.

As a result of the impact of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 3 holes were formed on the Chongarsky bridge, but the supporting structures were not damaged, said the Acting Governor of the Kherson region V. Saldo.
The bridge on the Arabas Spit was also damaged, it is in the photo.

Re: #123 - Main news thread - conflicts, terrorism, crisis from around the globe
Today, armed formations of the criminal Kievv regime fired at the bridge across the Tonky Strait, which connects the city of Genichesk with the Arabat Spit. In total, the Kiev terrorists fired 12 missiles, 9 were shot down by our air defense.
One civilian was wounded, passing over the bridge at the time of arrival. The gas pipeline from the Strelkovskoye field to Genichesk, which ran next to the bridge, was also interrupted. More than 20 thousand residents of the city were left without a gas supply.
The bridge has no important military significance. Having switched to state terrorism, as always, vilely and lowly hits civilian infrastructure to disrupt the peaceful life of people.
Information about the damage to the bridge and the gas pipeline is being specified. According to preliminary data, they are small and will be eliminated quickly.

The U.S. is building 4 new military bases in the Philippines.
Arrogant imperialism that still fantasizes about full-spectrum dominance in Asia.
Smart thing would be to negotiate Taiwan-China reunification, which is an inevitability.
The Philippines is also dumb. China is not going to invade you.
So, why would you become a pawn in a catastrophic war?

It looks like as we now have a Marcos back in office the Philippines is once again a vassal state,we all know about the Japanese in the Philippines but before that were the Americans this 8 minute video outlines that they were not very nice colonialists at all.

Niger Air Base 201
Niger Air Base 201 (also known in some sources as "Nigerien Air Base 201") is a United States drone airbase near Agadez, Niger. The base is about 5 km southeast of Agadez. It is owned by the Nigerien military but built and paid for by the United States. It is operated by the U.S. military as a drone base. As of February 2018, the site consists of a runway, still under construction, a hangar, and numerous smaller buildings for personnel to work and live in Length and surface 1,890 metres (6,201 ft) Asphalt https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niger_Air_Base_201
The US can’t use its $110 million drone base in Niger
The U.S. military is unable to fly drones from a base in Niger because the country’s airspace has been closed after a coup overthrew the government in late July, a U.S. official said.Known as “Nigerien Air Base 201,” the installation cost $110 million to build and it features a 6,200-foot runway for MQ-9 Reapers as well as manned aircraft. The U.S. military began conducting drone flights from the base in November 2019.About 1,100 U.S. troops are currently deployed to Niger, according to the Defense Department. The country is an important partner in the U.S. military’s efforts to counter the Islamic State group and other terrorist organizations in Africa. In October 2017, four U.S. soldiers were killed near the Nigerien village of Tongo Tongo after being attacked by more than 100 ISIS fighters.Politico first reported that U.S. military drones were unable to fly from a base near Agadez, Niger, after the country’s armed forces ousted Niger’s president in a July 26 coup.

Re: #123 - Main news thread - conflicts, terrorism, crisis from around the globe
There have been nine attempted or successful coups d’état in Africa since 2020. A stereotypical coup d'état involves the most senior members of the military (i.e., generals) overthrowing the government in a short, but potentially violent, incident that causes mass panic in the population. The most recent coups in Africa differ in some key aspects from the coups that were seen on the continent in the past, especially during the immediate post-independence period. What are these differences, and what do they mean for democracy?
It seems that a new model of coup is being established, which differs in key ways compared to what has gone before. Coup leaders have been slightly younger, the coups have been less violent, and in some cases they have occurred (with popular support) against a background of political stagnation and intense security challenges. The type of foreign involvement in these coups also appear to be changing (but this is more difficult to confirm).
Younger leaders
The age of the coup leaders has been a remarkably consistent element of these most recent coups. With the exception of Sudan, the coup leaders have ranged in age from 34 to 41. They have also been lower in rank than most coup leaders (and have come mostly from special forces units), including two colonels, a lieutenant-Colonel, and a captain. This growing dynamic is certainly not completely unprecedented: Jerry Rawlings was a 31-year old flight-lieutenant when he led his first coup attempt in Ghana, and Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo was a 37-year old lieutenant-colonel when he seized power in Equatorial Guinea. The latter example also highlights a potential negative implication of this element of the current wave of coups: the leaders may try to stay in power for a very long time. more on webpage
