Just talked to two separate friends currently in Russia and the conversation went like this.

Me: Is the low ruble effecting prices in Russia?

Friend: Not anything noticeable, in fact if you were in a comma for two years and just woke up today
you probably wouldn’t even know their is a war going on.

The second conversation went similarly to this one.
There is no noticeable change in pricing for food, goods, or services for the average Russian
and like I’ve been saying it’s simple currency manipulation for exports purposes.
Don’t make the same mistakes everyone did last year when the Ruble was low to the dollar.

But stronger dollar is affecting japans yen. Yen is currently at 145,5 for dollar. It is a serious problem for Bank of Japan and whole market in Japan. You will see in next few days (weeks) if it is not taken care of.
