Reports are coming in that Russian troops have entered the southern outskirts of New York. This settlement is located 6 km west of Gorlovka and has long been used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a strong fortified area. New York is situated in a lowland and is presumably the most convenient entry point for further advancing towards Nelepovka and potentially reaching Toretsk, and from there to the N-32 highway to Konstantinovka near Chasiv Yar.
