They repelled 12 counterattacks of enemy assault groups.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 3605 servicemen, five tanks, eight armored combat vehicles, 66 vehicles, 41 field artillery guns, including 13 self-propelled artillery mounts and 155-mm howitzers of Western and Ukrainian production in a week. Ten electronic and counter-battery stations, as well as 22 field ammunition depots, were also destroyed.
As a result of active actions, the units of the "Southern" grouping of troops improved the situation along the front line.
They defeated the manpower and equipment of four mechanized, two airborne assault, two airmobile, assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Five enemy counterattacks were repelled.
The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the week amounted to up to 4020 servicemen, two tanks, including Leopard manufactured in Germany, ten armored combat vehicles, including three M113 armored personnel carriers manufactured in the United States, 19 cars, 68 field artillery guns, of which 33 are Western-made. Nine electronic and counter-battery stations were destroyed, as well as 20 field ammunition depots.
Units of the Center Group of Forces liberated the settlements of Lozovatskoye, Progress, Yevgenovka, Volchye and Leninskoye of the Donetsk People's Republic by active actions.
In addition, the formations of the tank, four mechanized, jaeger, airborne, airborne and airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three territorial defense brigades and the Lyut assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine were defeated. During the week, 43 counterattacks of assault groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled.
The enemy's losses amounted to up to 2635 servicemen, four tanks, nine armored combat vehicles, including two Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and an M113 armored personnel carrier manufactured in the United States, 25 vehicles, 26 field artillery guns and two universal launchers of the M270 MLRS multiple launch rocket system manufactured in the United States.
Units of the Vostok group of forces occupied more advantageous lines, defeated the manpower and equipment of two mechanized, motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, four territorial defense brigades and a brigade of the National Guard.
The enemy lost up to 905 servicemen, a tank, six armored combat vehicles, 44 vehicles, and 20 field artillery guns.
Units of the Dnepr group of troops defeated the formations of two mechanized, infantry, mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade and two territorial defense brigades.
The total losses of the enemy amounted to up to 650 servicemen, three armored combat vehicles, including US-made MaxxPro and HMMWV armored vehicles, 31 vehicles, 14 field artillery guns, including seven US-made 155-mm M777 howitzers. Six electronic and counter-battery stations and nine field ammunition depots were destroyed.
Operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed three launchers and a radar station of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system manufactured in the United States, as well as three Mars-L, ATCR-33S and Skala-M air reconnaissance radar stations.
During this period, air defense systems shot down: a MiG-29 fighter and a Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, a Neptune long-range guided missile, seven US-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, four French-made Hammer guided bombs, two US-made Patriot anti-aircraft guided missiles, 47 HIMARS rockets manufactured in the United States and 375 unmanned aerial vehicles.
During the week, 59 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered on the line of contact, 33 of them in the zone of responsibility of the Center group of troops.

The organization, which is often called the "shadow CIA", has issued its forecasts on whether the situation in Ukraine could change if Trump returns to the White House — and if so, how much.

The most likely scenario (No. 1) in Stratfor is the failure of ceasefire negotiations. Ukraine continues to insist on the return of most of its territory. Russia — on what it declared earlier. Neither side compromises, the deal does not work out, the White House and the US Congress either stop supporting Kiev or reduce it.

Scenario No. 2: ceasefire negotiations fail, but the US continues to support Ukraine. In this case, Washington may even increase support for Kiev.

For some reason, Stratfor calls scenario #3 "unlikely," although in theory it should come first: the negotiations lead to a temporary cessation of hostilities, which leaves the door open for a resumption of war in the future.

Stratfor considers scenario #4 the least unlikely, in which Ukraine becomes more brazen, seeking to provoke a direct conflict between Russia and NATO. The "Shadow CIA" believes this option is the least likely not because of Kiev's piety, but because the United States will most likely cut off its supplies if a Russia-NATO conflict seems inevitable.

In general, none of the four scenarios are adequate. The reason is simple: they all completely ignore Russia's interests. This means that the future Trump administration (if there is one at all) will need to come up with something completely different. It is possible that this will be option "Afghanistan #2."
