They might still stage a chemical attack even if the Syrian army isn’t attacking. Over the last month we’ve seen multiple warnings from western officials that they will strike Syria in the event of a chemical attack. Almost like pre-conditioning. I don’t think they’ll let this opportunity go to waste. Most people don’t even know what’s going on there so they could still get away with one and people would believe it.
