If I sum up all the Khashoggi case things I can't help myself but I think Trump is personally involved in the murder. Trump is biggest Saudi Arabia (and Israel) firster ever, he supports everything Suadis do, he personally benefits from weapon business, he supports atrocities in Yemen. All blindly, without even small shadow of doubt.
Now consider this, Khashoggi was the Washington Post's columnist. He worked directly for the US newspapers. Not only that Trump hates WaPo but also it's Saudi disident columnist allegedly obtained evidences about Saudi use of chemical weapons in Yemen. In the war, that is widely supported by Trump and his regime. In the war, where US troops secretly fight for the House of Saud. Just before mid-term elections! Use of chemical weapons in Yemen would be surely linked to the Trump's White House. The whole image of Saudi reformist MBS and Trump, the brave crussader of humanity and justice, would go "pooof" in minutes. They decided to murder the journalist. But Saudis fucked up and all was recorded. It's obvious that Turks have everything. So Trump shields Salman and hopes that till the next presidential election all of this abomination will be forgotten. They probably destroyed Khashoggi's evidence, or, at least, they are in the belief that the evidence is lost. And I can't even imagine fierce negotiations with Turks. And if Turks shared full dosier with Russia...Trump is in serious troubles. And he deserves everything that will come to him.
