Correct. There are a lot of other government employees who are also not receiving checks, who have families to support. This whole thing just infuriates me.

The worst part is, aside from so many people not getting paychecks, that anyone who has lived on the border knows this wall will not work. I grew up on the border of US/Mexico. The city I'm from is basically one and the same with the sister city across the border, it's very fluid. I'm not hispanic, but I spent at least half of my childhood over the border in Mexico. Many people have half of their family on the Mexico side. The bad guys will find a way around the wall. Not to mention that a good section of the border is water. No one who lives there is going to want a stupid ass wall in the middle of a river.
