Today was one of the designated protest days called by the opposition, but only a small anti-Maduro protest was managed in the end. Just look at how impoverished, destitute, and oppressed these poor people are! Maduro man bad!

That's desperate. On 30 Jan the globalists were very much hoping for a very big anti-maduro protest/s, which never materialized for them. There is another protest announced for Saturday, let's see how that one turns out.
Of course they are hoping for bigger turnouts than what was seen with Guaido last week when he announced. But I did read somewhere that the day when Guaido made that announcement, that day is historically a day when Venezuelans come to the streets in greater numbers anyway, (a tradition of some sort)... so globalists are going to end up very disappointed from what I can see.

In case people don't know Juan Guaidó basically leads a right wing version of Antifa in Venezuela to put them in charge would be a disaster. I fear a massacre of the Amerindian and black Venezuelan population if he takes power as his thugs have committed killings against them already. It reminds me of the Iran contra in Latin America where US backed death squads slaughtered 100s of thousands of Amerindians.
