I know President Xi of China very well. He is a great leader who very much has the respect of his people. He is also a good man in a “tough business.” I have ZERO doubt that if President Xi wants to quickly and humanely solve the Hong Kong problem, he can do it. Personal meeting?

I guess he's been like that all his life. Rich Daddy, who probably noticed that his son is not the brightest candle. Released him into life with counsellors, so that not everything ends in a catastrophe.
When I first read about him in a magazine sometime in the 80s and saw pictures of him, it was clear to me that he must be pretty stupid. His facial expression and the choice of words for his tweets today give the impression that his IQ would have been just enough to be an unskilled worker.

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

US farms just had 28 billion bailout and that was before China stopped buying Agriculture from America altogether and now US economy heading for a recession lol. US has no choice but to let China keep buying Iranian oil and Gas, Stay out of Hong Kong and and stay out of African countries with strong ties to China if the US wants the economic pain to stop.

This is why the Palestinians need a state why is Israel blocking people from visiting Ramallah and Gaza? They had zero interest in visiting Israel they wanted to visit the Palestinian areas but you need to go through Israel to do it hopefully Egypt lets them into Gaza from the Egypt border.

Well, US seized it in all but name already.
