Qassam rockets
The Qassam rocket is the best-known type of rocket deployed by Palestinianmilitants, combatants....
Design
The utility of the Qassam rocket design is assumed to be ease and speed of manufacture, using common tools and components. To this end, the rockets are propelled by a solid mixture of a 60/40 mixture of Potassium Nitrate and sugar, a common fertilizer. The warhead is filled with smuggled or scavenged TNT and urea nitrate, another common fertilizer. This is similar to the civilian explosive ammonite. Furthermore, there were efforts to improve the lethality of the warheads by equipping them with a nose probe that will enable them to explode several inches above ground.
The rocket consists of a steel cylinder, containing a rectangular block of the propellant.
The final solid fuel grain is of a square cross section burning both from the outside and the inside.
The aft bulkhead, containing the nozzles, is then screwed on and a few spot welds are applied to prevent unscrewing. At best this is a dangerous procedure but apparently they do get away with it.
Nozzles
The early rockets had a single exhaust nozzle but all later products are equipped with seven nozzles.
A steel plate which forms and supports the nozzles is then spot-welded to the base of the cylinder. The warhead consists of a simple metal shell surrounding the explosives, and is triggered by a fuse constructed using a simple firearm cartridge, a spring and a nail.
While early designs used a single nozzle which screwed into the base, later rockets use a seven-nozzle design, with the nozzles drilled directly into the rocket baseplate.
This alteration both increases the tolerance of the rocket to small nozzle design defects, and makes manufacture easier by allowing the use of a drill rather than a lathe during manufacture due to the smaller nozzle size.
However, due to the cone shape of each of the 7 nozzles, the interior of each nozzle requires the use of a lathe, as it would otherwise be cylindrical rather than conical (see rocket engine nozzle).
Unlike many other rockets, the nozzles are not canted, which means the rocket does not spin about its longitudinal axis during flight.
While this results in a significant decrease in accuracy, it greatly simplifies rocket manufacture and the launch systems required.
Cost
The cost of the materials used for manufacturing each Qassam is up to $800 or €500 (in 2008/9) per rocket.

$30b wiped off Aussie share market as Trump's war continues
The Australian share market has been hammered at the opening, losing $30 billion following a dramatic escalation of trade hostilities between the US and China over the weekend.
The benchmark ASX200 was down 1.7 per cent early, wiping out almost all of last week's gains for the local market, while the Aussie dollar has fallen further and is buying 67.17 US cents from 67.53 US cents on Friday.

I'm starting to think Trump is deliberately trying to collapse the global economy on purpose.

I wish we knew how much damage this attacks are doing but the Saudis have had a media blackout for years so we will never know.
