He is a Assyrian Iraqi who lives in Washington DC and writes for a Washington based Arabic newspaper in other words he does not even live in Iraq. He probably hates Iran because a lot of Assyrians still to this day blame Persians for the fall of the Assyrian empire thousands of years ago.
