Both Manbij and Kobani are in Turkey’s intended safe zone.
But we are at a point that Turkey would just be okay with Assad’s presence in these two towns rather than YPG

srsly.. i think this last interview was a campaign event: offering himself as de-facto leader of the 'other' free world.
(emphasize de-facto here.... something 'implied' and not spoken.)
it was literally the single thread/theme of what I was picking up.
i could be wrong but it was a master at work throughout. i will watch this interview many times. it was stage craft compliments of 'Sochi studios' hahaha.
it was epic imo

Turkey is 80 million nation. They could invade whole Syria and hold it with its troops+FSA. Imo they could open another front in the west with Greece at same time. Maybe that would already be close to a stretch but they got plenty.

That's what I am waiting for. This is the trap carefully laid out for Erdogan. The Turks always overestimate themselves. This is like a repetition of the Battle of Nisibis against the Egyptians. It ended under the walls of Istanbul. One major loss and Erdogan looses his support, one contact with the US ans there is trouble at Incirlik. No support from NATO anyhow. Erdogan is isolated in his palace. One mistake and Turkey will have a civil war.

North of Arimah, west of Manbij, after the withdrawal of Americans from the region this morning:
Syrian Arab Army reportedly entered two villages

It seems that the first priority is to "block" a potential SNA attack on Manbij
