You guys really think Turks would clash with Assad? Well, FSA is crazy enough, not controllable imo. But that would probablly mean Russian-Turkish dogfights in the air.

What I think is: all agree, that US has to get out of the area. If Putin supports the Syrians directly to cross the Euphrates, there would be a clash between Russia and US. That's what he wants to avoid. Erdogan wants to go in anyhow, for his own reasons. So Putin says, if you want to go in, go in. Whatever the outcome will be, Russia and Syria will profit from it. NATO can take great damage from this. Trump can finally do, what he has promised, to leave Syria. Pentagon was close to mutiny. Now they have to withdraw, if they like it or not.

What we are seeing in northeast Syria is the implementation of the Turkish-Syrian 1998 Adana agreement under Russian, US supervision ... Soon the agreement will be also implemented in Idlib, de facto ending the war.

Oh c'mon, there won't be battle. It would prolong things sooo much... I don't think Erdogan has ambitions to go to Raqaa, I mean it would be unrealistic expetantion from his side. He knows what Russia thinks about it, they had talks and all.

Guess how many SDF fighters without a Syrian ID we will come across in east Syria
Many of them came from Turkey and Iraq, to claim a Kurdish majority in east Syria in a preparation for an independent entity (the long gone wet dream).

Anyone who expects any clash between Russian-backed and Turkish-backed forces doesn't understand the situation, there wasn't 13 meetings in Astana for nothing.

Those who went to Jamusiyah and Wuraydah returned to Arima after US forces arrived.
I thought US already left Manbij area? They trying to block SAA advance so Turkey can takeover?

They wouldn't drive around in convoys I guess. All of this is well prepared in advance. I've seen videos of celebrations from today's earlier hours. This is agreed uppon by all the sides - Turks, Russia, Iran and Syria. That's my take.
