I'm sure we've all said this before but: It really does look like it's about to kick off for real this time. Fighting off tiredness to keep watching but unless I get some beers in I'm unlikely to stay awake.

@Anderson - I'm pretty sure tshtf from Hezbollah any time, from Iran after the funeral.  Iran may even keep the US guessing for a bit.....but that's just my uneducated opinion.

You see for me I'd say Iran could play this incredibly smart...

They could cause chaos for the US all without firing a single bullet...

They could let the Iraqis take it to the UN (I'm thinking that Iraq has asked Iran to hold of given that Iraq will be the initial battlezone) so there would be legal enforcement behind forcing the US to withdraw...

They could then come out further down the line if the US doesnt withdraw as a nuclear state, using the strike and failure to adhere to UN mandates to withdraw from Iraq as justification in doing so...

They could push for sanctions from other countries to be dropped or eased effectively causing unwanted grief in the markets for the US...

They could also play hard ball in the Straits by presenting a level of threat to shipping and watch the Markets erupt...

All this without firing a bullet.
