I'm not surprised in the least, I knew Iran wasn't going to fuck around with their response. This is going to be BIG, bigger than anything that's happened since the Vietnam War. And potentially bigger than that, if things go like I think they will.

Al-Mayadeen: the American wing of Ain Al-Assad has been struck 35 times thus far, and extremely loud & violent explosions have been heard there.
Note the news from earlier that the Iraqi troops there were given their own separate quarters, which Iran is not targeting.
