After Germans lost the war and Czechoslovakia became independent some Germans, mostly from Sudetland, became butthurted. This became Hitler's main pretext to claim part of Czech territory. And western traitors allowed him to take it. Then, he took the rest of the country, totally unoposed by the west. Only Soviet Union warned and condemned this.
German Lnadsmanschaft is still butthurted that they were kicked out from Sudetland after they lost WWII too...

Maybe I should tell you, that my mother was exactely from this region. But she never was a member of the "Landsmannschaft", because she opposed their ideas. Her family had a mixed German-Slovakian background. So I always try to be balanced and neutral on these points. Maybe it would have been possible to live in a multi-national state, but there were too many provocations from both sides. My mother even had the chance to hide with Moravian farmers and escape the kicking out.
