Don't agree with that it seems the US uses sanctions to force countries to allow drugs, Alcohol, porn and abortions.
That's because their secularism wasn't brough by globlists I guess. In Sudan it looks like another typical takeover by the globalist maffia. Just recently US gave almos $14 million in "help" to fight COVID. But we all remember operation "Infinite Reach". That's same kind of "freedom" brought to Iraq or Ukraine.
What is their position on female genital mutilation? Anyone know? What is Russia's 'official' position? I'm curious. Is it 'don't ask don't tell'?
Is it 'outlawed'?
That's mostly African issue I guess:
https://www.who.int/reproductivehealth/topics/fgm/prevalence/en/
There were some reports about such practices in Dagestan. It looks like very rare cases (I read about two such cases). Officialy there was no such case recorded in Russian federation till last year.
https://www.rferl.org/a/activists-call-for-investigation-into-female-genital-mutilation-case-saying-it-would-be-a-first-for-russia/30621340.html
However Chechnya is another example of secularism not brought by the empire. I'm very skeptic over anythong related "human rights" and "freedoms" in countries under the globalist influence. This step is very likely nothing else, than PR. Similar to Saudi MbS and his "reformism". In reality nothing will change, but Trump (or his successor) will be able to say that their partner, Sudan, is democratic, free country.
"female genital mutilation"
What not many people know, we had it in Europe too, for USA I'm not sure. Afaik up to ~100 years ago. It was against masturbation for religious reasons. But I don't know when this started, it was not about cultural traditions.
In Africa it was more an "African thing", not so much Islamic. Afaik above all it has to do with a brutal enforcement of the patriarchy.

Syria
Important
The Syrian government requires "SDF" to share influence and oil, and a share for the Russians ... and America chooses neutrality.
An informed Syrian Kurdish source revealed the return of negotiations
Between the Syrian government and the Democratic Union Party (PYD), under Russian supervision,
they partly agreed on a number of issues.
The Kurdish source said: The PYD delegation returned from the capital, Damascus, two days ago to Qamishli
After he held "intensive meetings with senior Syrian officials,"
noting that "the two sides reached a partial agreement under Russian auspices"
.... and on the terms of the agreement:
The source, who declined to be named, explained
"The partial agreement includes the Russian Air Force stopping a Turkish attack
that is being prepared against Kobani and Ain Issa this month,
in addition to granting the local administration in all SDF control areas
to the Democratic Union Party without any official recognition.
On the other hand, during the meetings, the Syrian government proposed
its return to the areas of the Syrian Democratic Forces,
power-sharing, influence, oil and gas with the management of the Democratic Union Party in full,
and also requested
that the border crossings be in the hands of the Syrian government forces
and major cities such as Al-Qamishli, Hasaka and several other areas under Russian supervision
and guarantees
that the Syrian agencies will not arrest the Kurds in the future
and give the Kurds the right to study in the Kurdish language in the eastern regions,
provided that
oil and gas imports and agriculture for the Syrian state
with the exception of the 100/25 quota (25%) for the Kurds
and the source confirmed that the party's delegation returned from Damascus
to consult the Kurdish top leadership on the agreement Partial and state demands,
and he will return to Damascus soon to complete negotiations with officials there.
The source revealed, "Russia is exerting great pressure.
The SDF must make concessions."
