We were very busy following the swift expansion of the Taliban and the chaotic withdrawal of NATO, so the bigger picture was out of our sight, but shortly before I had already some ideas in this direction:

-This withdrawal is not just a withdrawal, it is a regrouping of US troops.
-The troops ordered to support the withdrawal will be too late to support, but when they arrive in Kuwait and Qatar, they are in a good position against Iran.
-The Turkish offer to protect the airport in Kabul via Azerbaidjan and Turkmenistan (and Dostum in Northern Afghanistan, now obsolete) would separate Russia and Iran.
-The fact, that the HQ of the Taliban is in Qatar, where US has troops and the Muslim Brotherhood has its HQ is suspicious. It enables agreements between all these parties behind the curtains.
-Maybe wrongly I had assumed Turkey had not closed its embassy.

Now more suspicious points are transpiring.
-There seemed to be a disagreement between the US military and Biden, how to do the withdrawal. Biden seemed to have interfered in the military plans and insisted on the way, it was done now.
On the one hand you can say, he is f***ing things up, on the other hand you can say, he is creating a situation, that makes it necessary to send in fresh troops. These fresh troops are now in place against Iran.
-The Muslim Brotherhood and the terrorists in Idlib are celebrating the victory of the Taliban.
-The strange change of the Taliban. Suddenly they want to be recognized as a moderate movement. Why and how have they changed?
-China and Russia are reluctant in recognizing them too quickly. Russia wants to observe their behaviour.
-All the material left behind by US. Maybe it was left there to be picked up by the Taliban.
