I love how governments around the world keep pulling these numbers from their asses, like 70% vaccination rate means anything.... I am not interested in these games, but I can ask my students, who come back next week.
They don't have much "spare time". Their timetable is densely packed. They have a different idea of working. You need to give them deadlines for everything. Then they start doing it one minute before the deadline, no difference between students, teachers, admins etc. During the whole semester they do nothing. They sleep in the office or in the classroom. They are just forced to be in the assigned room, that's it. If I don't stop them, they play in class and prepare for the exam during the last night.

Four of my students go to Germany next month. They have all got up to two shots of SinoVac or SinoPharm, like me. But now they have got a list of all accepted vaccines in Germany: Johnson&Johnson/Janssen/BioNTech/Pfizer/Moderna/AZ/AstraZeneca. The Chinese vaccines are not accepted in Germany and they need to get inoculated again after their arrival. I suggested them, not to go at all and stay at home in China.
